Beautiful self contained self catering apartment in recently restored old Tuscan farmhouse. The rooms all have traditional beamed and tiled rooves. Garden and Swimming Pool for Guest Use, and car parking on the premises.
Stonehouse is an ideal base for visiting the historic cities of Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena. For more relaxing days, the beaches of Viareggio and Marina di Vecchiano are half an hour's drive away - or you can take a bike and explore the Bientina Marsh of the Pisan Hills.
The Apuan Alps, with their fine scenery and historic marble quarries are also close at hand, as are the more gentle Appenines.
The area is ideal for a blend of culture and activity, and the owners who live on site can help you to make the most of your holiday.

Like coming home

Beautiful location and accommodation
We had a wonderful stay with Paola and David who were both very helpful and friendly going out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed.The house is beautiful and our accommodation was well resourced and provided everything necessary to prepare food and enjoy our stay. We would recommend this location as a good base to explore Tuscany with all of the beautiful towns and villages within travelling distance. Janie & Tony

Very Pleasent Stay
Very good hosts, we had difficulties finding the apartment (GPS), but a phone call to David and he came to direct us to our destination. On arrival we were delighted to find a Jam Tart, Milk, Orange Juice and a bottle of local Wine as a welcome gift, a very nice thought and the first time we had experienced it in 10 weeks of travel in Europe. The apartment itself was clean, warm, well appointed and very comfy bed. In all a great stay and would recommend this apartment 5 out of 5 Regards Barry and Jenny from Australia

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für Toskanaurlaub
Saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft in sehr guter zentraler Lage in der Toskana. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt, obwohl wir verspätet angereist waren. Wir haben sogar ein schönes Willkommensgeschenk erhalten. Autobahn nach Florenz in 5 min erreichbar. Strand in 45 min erreichbar. Ausstattung des Appartements war super. Einziges kleines Manko war, dass uns ein wenig Ablageflächen im Bad fehlte und die Bettmatratzen begonnen haben, sich durchzulegen. Paola und David sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Eine Woche, in der wir uns sehr gut erholen konnten. Paola und David sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Wohnung liegt zentral Und man kann schnell die Sehenswürdigkeiten oder das Meer erreichen. Oder einfach zur Ruhe kommen und am Pool chillen.

Super Urlaub
Hallo David und Paola, wir haben im Mai 2017 zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem Landhaus verbringen dürfen und waren begeistert. Die ruhige Lage, die private Atmosphäre, das schöne historische Haus und die geschmackvolle Einrichtung haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Der große Garten mit mit Pool in ruhiger Lage ist ein echtes Highlight und genau das richtige für gestresste Rentner. Die supernetten Vermieter wohnen nebenan und kümmern sich sehr ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, es gibt eine sehr gute günstige Pizzeria und eine Eisdiele wo wir das beste Eis gegessen haben. Florenz, Pisa, Lucca und die Strände und Küstenstädte sind gut zu erreichen. Es gibt viel gute Wanderwege ind der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Wir sind als Paar angereist und haben es auch sehr genossen. Es gibt genügend Privatsphäre. Insgesamt ein Top-Angebot, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen. Viele Liebe Grüsse Detlef und Rita

Gezellig appartement in een prachtige omgeving
Reeds bij aankomst bleek dit appartement een schot in de roos. Een gezellig groot terras met verschillende overdekte prieeltjes, mooi versierd met oude landbouwwerktuigen getooid met bloemen. De gastvrouw had zelfs een taart voor ons gebakken, en in de keuken was ook een kleine voorraad aanwezig. Het appartement was lekker koel, erg netjes en proper, met voldoende leg- en hangruimte voor kleding, een kleine functionele keuken en badkamer. Ook was er veel aandacht voor ecologie en sorteren van afval. Gastvrouw en gastheer zijn supervriendelijk, en geven goede tips om de mooie Toscaanse omgeving te verkennen, ook buiten de "klassieke" toeristische toppers. Het huis was ook goed gelegen in een rustig dorp, maar toch met goede bereikbaarheid van winkels en vlotte toegang tot grotere wegen. Zeer tevreden dus !

Geweldig
Wij zijn hier geweest van 25 september tot 2 oktober. De verwachting die wij van te voren hadden naar aanleiding van de foto's en recenties zijn meer dan waar gemaakt. Het was geweldig. Paola en David zijn geweldige mensen. Bij aankomst stond er een fles wijn, een zelf gemaakt taartje en sap en melk voor ons klaar. Een keurig schoon appartement. Functioneel ingericht met voor ons alles erop en eraan. In de tuin met zwembad kom je helemaal tot rust. Er zijn verschillende zitjes in de tuin waar je zowel in de zon als schaduw kunt zitten. Vlakbij zitten 2 geweldige restaurants waar je heerlijk kunt eten. Wij komen hier absoluut nog een keer weer.
