ROACH COACH
At first the property seems okay, pretty noisy for a rural area. The property is close to a main road and there is a lot of traffic; you can hear everything in these trailers. When we went inside it was HOT, the air couldn’t have been on long. The cactus trailer, the larger of the two doesn’t cool down much even when running the air constantly. Neither fridge worked very well if you had more than a couple of things in there (literally), we used our coolers. I actually went and purchased a 2nd cooler so we could use it as a fridge. The first two days were fine (I guess, who knows what was crawling all over us while we were sleeping), we went and played in the water near by and came back and crashed from exhausting. The third day is where things really turned around for us. My 12 year old son and mother were sleeping in the cactus cabin when a cockroach dropped down almost hitting my son in the face. When he stood up another one was on his arm and fell onto my mother’s bed. When they turned the lights on the cockroaches ran. Completely freaked out, they came to the smaller camper where I was staying. We contacted the owners (which I found out through VRBO was not the correct thing to do), they acted totally surprised. I told them we didn’t feel comfortable staying and would be leaving in the morning. However, we couldn’t even make it that long we were so grossed out. We packed up in the middle of the night, I think around 11:30/midnight and left (highly recommend Hampton Inn in Bulvarde). I requested a refund for at least the rest of our stay, feeling we really should be refunded for our entire stay. I got a fraction of what the refund should have been for the remainder of my stay and was told if I want the rest to contact VRBO for their fees. I contacted VRBO directly, since I went to the property manager first their hands were tied and could only open an investigation. I sent them the picture of the roach we were able to kill (the one that almost landed on my son’s face) and gave them access to the messages from the property owner. It is not looking good for me getting a refund for a ruined vacation. So lessons learned: 1). DON’T stay here unless you like roaches and so called Christians that only care about taking your money. 2). DON’T contact the property manager when there is an issue or VRBO won’t be able to help you. Contact VRBO directly. 3) Hampton Inn Bulvarde is very nice and roach free. 1st bad VRBO experience

Retro Bonding!
The campers reminded us of our growing up experience with our family and our friends. My sisters and I remember growing up having to share a room and lining up to use the bathroom. Stepping over each other, fighting over personal space and the late nights we stayed up talking and laughing. My niece had a hard time believing that her aunts shared small space like this and being content. My bestfriend and her sister do remember that all three sisters shared a room as well. It made for close bonding. We had a chance to recall, reminise and relive and appreciate a part of our past. We had have and enjoyed our time.

Now, GLAMPERS for life...❤️❤️❤️
This was our 1st glamper camping memory making w/3 generations (both sets of grandparents, our children (my 23 yr old son, my 30 yr old daughter, & their 29 yr old son) and our g-babies (6 yr old g-daughter and 3 yr old g-son). We had just the right amount of space w/all 3 glampers for sleeping and we spent 90% of our time in the two outdoor seating areas... cooking, hanging out and just chillin’!!! Thank you for being a part of our 1st of many new holiday traditions to come!!!

Week end get away
This was to be a tubing trip with the Grands. They couldn't make it. Rather than cancel I made it a gals trip. We enjoyed it so much. The camper is just the cutest, it brought back a flood of childhood memories for me. My friends first stay in a camper, so new memories made all around. Great location, in the hill country, close to tubing, Canyon Lake, shopping and restaurants. It is by a highway but that wasn't a problem, felt completely safe. We enjoyed the compound area, there was a nice breeze in the morning and evening, Very relaxing. There is a grill, charcoal was provided. I will definitely book here again. Thanks for all the hard work you put into making this a wonderful experience.
