The property was just what we needed to for a good fall break. Location of property was near the lake, which was great place for a day trip. Can't wait to book again.
Thank you
Absolutely perfect! The cabin was amazing and the location was ideal. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub so much. The deck had a beautiful view as well. We picnicked on the grounds and cooked together at the cabin. I think we’d like to build our own log cabin one day. The scrapbook on the history of the property/cabin was a bonus. We will be back!!!
My wife and found this place for little getaway for a weekend and we absolutely loved it. The Cedar Cabin is at the back of the property and it was secluded. The place is minutes from Wildflower Cafe “a must eat homemade food” and minutes from River road with tons to do. We will definitely be staying there again.
Thanks and God Bless

Just wanted to get out of the house and find some peace and quiet without driving hours, mission accomplished. Super quiet and the cabin was perfect. It sure didn’t feel like we were 20 miles from home. Thank you!
This was our third visit to this cabin which is one of our favorite spots we spent our honeymoon here, our 3rd and 11tg anniversary as well. Justin was awesome with the booking process and getting us in earlier than expected he also provided robes which were highly unexpected but an awesome treat. Hot tub was nice and hot while the cabin stays cool. We didn't go anywhere and spend the whole two days sitting right there on the back porch or in the hot tub at that cabin. Exactly what I needed thank you Justin so much for everything
The cabin was nice, clean, and as pictured. The property was nice and secluded. We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the mornings. We stayed here in late July and it was exceptionally hot outside (105) and the window units had a hard time keeping the cabin comfortable. Lack of AC is the main reason for the low rating. This would be a better place to stay in cooler temps. Also, the driveway is steep and you may need to park at the top of the hill by the sign.

Wonderful Honeymoon Get-A-Way
Fantastic experience, and extremely relaxing. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The hot tub was crystal clean upon our arrival which made my bride extremely happy. The shower had plenty of room in it, and is quite relaxing itself. Cold front came in on Monday, so we shut off the A/C unit and simply used the fireplace to heat the cabin, and it worked out perfectly. All of the appliances in the cabin work great, and are clean. We cooked in the kitchen or grilled on the patio everyday. I sat in the hot tub one morning during sunrise, drank a cup of coffee, and watched the deer wander around the property. We went into town for a couple hours to do some touristy stuff, and when we got back our firewood had been replenished. Very secluded, and quiet. Love this place! We will most definitely be returning within the next year. Thank you for a wonderful honeymoon, and your courteous hospitality.
Being from Waco, I searched listings from Dallas to Tyler to San Antonio to find the perfect spot to celebrate a special birthday. This was the place! It had an amazing hot tub on a nice deck that was way bigger than the pictures portrayed. In fact, the pictures do not show how nice this entire place is. The unique shower was just the character that I wanted in a place away from home. The bed was clean and comfortable and the air was plenty cold, even as the day was still 98 degrees. We did not see a soul for our entire visit. We took a drive out to kayak on the lake and a trip into town at night to see American Slang at Billy’s Ice in NB. I wish we could’ve stayed another night and I definitely will come back again.
I will have to say, the driveway was very rough and I'm so glad we came in a truck and not my mustang because i would have definitely drug the bottom. We did actually put the truck into 4WD, as we were spinning tires the first time we attempted to leave the driveway. That would not stop me from staying here again though.
Our initial plan was to spend as much time as possible in Wimberley, and Gruene. After putting our belongings in the cabin we decided to do all of our meals and spend as much time as we could at the cabin. Very peaceful, very relaxing great weekend for sure!!
I came here with my boyfriend for our one year anniversary and we had a blast. It was great connecting with the outdoors and having alone time as well. Plus, the fire place was amazing too!
The cabin is extremely cute, perfect location for quiet and relaxation.
Loved sitting on the back porch drinking coffee in the mornings and having drinks and sitting in the hot tub during the day and evening.
Only issue is the awesome outdoor shower needs to be cleaned. The wood inside has turned black with mold. It comes off because I tested a small spot.
That was our only issue.
Our experience during our stay was everything we were hoping it would be. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary by decompressing and spending time together without the everyday noise of life. It was peaceful and serene. The cabin was cozy, clean and comfortable. We didn't want to leave. We will be back and next time stay longer.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here at the cedar cabin. It’s a cute and cozy cabin. The hot tub and the sunset’s were wonderful and beautiful and there was always a cool breeze blowing. We got to see deer and even a fox while we enjoyed sitting on the back porch.Everything was amazing and very private.Thank you for having us!
