"The apartment was ok, but especially the rugs need a good cleaning. The last renter had not done a very good job cleaning utensils, glasses and dishes so first thing we did was wash everything in the dishwasher. The gas stovetop did not appear to be working, but as we were only there for 2 nights we did not bring this up with the owner, so there is likely a solution to that. The area is ok, a small convenience store and cafe below, and other amenities and cafes, restaurants in easy walking...

The beach and port is a five to ten minute walk. We had a car rental, but getting to Sitges could also be easily accessible by bus, taxi or a 20-30 minute walk. "The owner was amazing. She met us in person and gave us an orientation of the home and the city. She also had wine and cookies for the kids waiting for us. There was also laundry detergent for the washer! Awesome bonus! Overall great hospitality. We did have a little bug problem and some of the dishes in the pantry were soiled. The owner arrived a little early, and we were still packing up. It was kind of strange having her stand around while we finished dressing and packing."

"The property was exactly as listed. Quite central to Vilanova with a lot of lil restaurants and shops within walking distance. Xavi and his partner made us feel right at home and we were able to communicate despite our Spanish speaking limitations :). The thing to be mindful about is that the property does not have its own parking, has paid parking next door and free parking around 5-6 mins walk away. That slight inconvenience apart, I would definitely recommend the stay and will look to be back...
