Gorgeous Lakeside Chalet

Property is located on a small float plane sized lake off the Denali Highway on a private drive. Enjoy fishing, boating or just relaxing at your own boat launch and beach on this 3 acres gem. After your daily venture, relax on the deck, barbecue or jump in the hot tub. No matter what you do, you will always find yourself gazing in awe of the scenery. Prime Berry picking, Wildlife viewing with hiking or strolling right out your door. 15 Miles to Carlo Creek, 20 miles to the Grizzly and Denali National Park, with Glitter Gulch just to the north. Activities include Rafting, Flight seeing, Hiking, Northern lights(mid August-Mid September), Fishing, Hunting, dog sledding, the 135 mile Denali Highway or Denali National Park. Local guides and tours available or self guided. When booking please do not leave a day that is non-bookable on either side of your stay. If you do, we may call you and see if you can adjust your vacation plans or we may not be able to rent. We only have approximately 115 days that we can possibly book and if every guest left a day or two on either side that is un-bookable, we could potentially lose out on half our season. we had a great time in Alaska. This home has a beautiful location and is well appointed. After a long day of hiking and adventures the hot tub is exactly what you need! Great views from everywhere in the house! Highly recommended location to stay, we would definitely go back.

This property is truly amazing. The views of the mountains are all around you, I have never seen anything like it. As far as the amenities, the owner has all the little things provided that save you a lot of money trying to buy things at the store. Kelly is awesome.

Quiet and Secluded with Great Views
On the water with mountain views all around. The house was well stocked and clean and we would definitely stay here again. One thing to be prepared for is that the house is not set up to keep out the midnight sun. However, the host did provide sleeping masks which helped.

Awesome Stay
Great Property and very convenient place to stay for Denali - not too far away to get there easily but far enough away to escape the activity around the park entrance. Our main regret about our stay is that we didn't stay longer to enjoy the property and the surrounding area (spent our days at Denali...). Would suggest if you are staying here to plan some extra time to enjoy the Canwell area as well. Will certainly look to stay here again on a future trip.

Beautiful views at this amazing lakeside home! So glad we had 2 nights here to relax and explore Denali National Park and Preserve. Fantastic cabin near Denali
We LOVED Kelly and Cheryl’s place! It was immaculate and well-appointed, accurately pictured, and very convenient to get to Denali. The views were stunning (Denali actually came out our first morning there), and Kelly and Cheryl provided us with lots of info before we arrived. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

This was easily one of our favorite Vrbo properties we’ve ever stayed in. Views are incredible and the house was extremely clean and well appointed. The property is located right off the Denali Highway, which we took the time to explore, and only about a 30 minute drive to the National Park. We would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to return to AK.

Total Luxury Out in the Wild
The property was immaculate, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We loved everything about it, from the Paddle boat on the lake below to looking at all the stuffed animals the owner had hunted himself. The owner was very personable and answered all our questions about his animals, beautiful cabinets and more. Would return in a heartbeat if we get to come back!

Great Stay with Easy Access to Denali Park
We had a group of 6 adults travelling up to visit Denali National Park. It was a great house with easy access to everything we were doing up in the area. The men loved the lake to do some fly fishing at night plus it made for a beautiful morning view. The kitchen made it very easy to make food for a crowd. We were a little worried about only having 1 bathroom for a large group but it was never an issue! Would highly recommend!
