The Upper Rooms is a self contained apartment above our garage with it's own private entrance and deck. There is a large room for the living, dining and kitchen areas. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a beautiful view of mountains and farmland. Another bedroom has a queen bed and a daybed. There is a third bedroom with a queen size bed. There is an awesome view from the dining area. Experience our beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day. Sit on our deck and enjoy the views and breeze. Watch deer in our yard and nearby fields. You are welcome to use the large swing set in the yard and gather your own eggs for breakfast.

Perfect place for our holiday stay.
The kids loved gathering eggs on Sunday for our Easter breakfast. Love the openness of the main room, perfect for a big breakfast with local family. The Goods are wonderful hosts.

Repeat getaway
We love coming back to this retreat away from the busy. "Farmer Jay and Faye" as my kids call them year-round are such nice hosts and supply more than enough in the apartment that you'll need for a comfortable stay. The chickens, swings, walking trails, outside + inside toys, encouraging reading content, farm visits, + beautiful views in every direction make you breathe deep and easy and reconnect with simple truths before returning to the normal busyness of life. We love this little gem we found about 5 years ago and have made it a bit of a tradition to return with my inlaws/the kids' gparents.

The location was lovely, quiet farm community that by its atmosphere, was cause for rest and relaxation. The apartment was clean, tastefully furnished and fully supplied kitchen and laundry facilities. We would love to return another time and for a longer stay.

What a view!
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The views were gorgeous and the property was stocked with everything we could need or want! My husband enjoyed fresh eggs and has decided that we need to have chickens now. Thank you, Jay and Faye!

Paradise on the hill
Property was amazing, even better than the pictures. Amenities were plentiful. Views were awesome but what makes this place extra special are the hosts who are some of the nicest people you would ever hope to meet and would do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Beautiful, manicured farm land with great views. The new apartment was very clean, quiet, full of amenities and had plenty of space. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and easy to contact and respected our privacy. We also have a rental and realize the standards for a good rental...this rental meets all of them. We would gladly stay again.

Good View at Good
Cant say enough GOOD things about my 5 day stay at The Goods property. Absolute perfect spot for home away from home as I strive for cleanliness and it sure is there at this property.Very nice people and I got to see the cow merry go round .nice to get back into nature for a few days also.if you have a young family ,then you owe it to your kids to see the cow farm.this is hard working America at its best.God Bless the Good’s for what they accomplish in life

Perfect!
Faye and Jay are absolutely wonderful and their property is BEAUTIFUL! Had everything we needed during our short trip. We were in town to visit relatives and have our newborn son meet his great grandparents for the first time. Coordinating dates was hard but Faye was incredibly kind and helpful when I needed to switch our trip dates. Highly recommend staying here! The kids loved the swing set and the chickens.

No worries for anyone staying at this amazing property. Nourish your soul in its tranquil calm. Views abound! Take a walk, visit a park or just hang out, you will not be disappointed! Amazing views
The hospitality was above and beyond! Best hosts ever. The property is well stocked with amenities. Beautiful views in all directions. The tour of the farm was great. Our granddaughter as well as the rest of us were so fascinated by their milking process. You will not be disappointed with this property. They will make you feel like family! We have rented many times online and this has been our best experience.

I loved the seclusion and farm like atmosphere. The apartment was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the low slanted ceiling in the kitchen area. All three adults hit our heads on it more than once. Ouch!

Hands down Faye and jay are the best I’ve rented many places and they have topped expectations
They were overly nice very helpful the place was immaculate to the point i was watching family members for dropping crumbs because they really take care of the apartment Faye was friendly they are inspiring I was simply amazed by what they shared with us and what we learned i would recommend and go back often they even showed my husband and father where to fish and they enjoyed thst the most truly grateful for the over welcoming and hospitality that was given

Peaceful retreat
The property is immaculate. It is exactly how it is described and more. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. I stayed in the upper room which has 3 bedrooms with a total of 4 comfortable beds. Plus an additional 2 sleepers in the living room. However, nothing compares to the kind and gracious owners. Extremely lovely people. They were knowledgeable, respectful and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Nothing But GOOD suprises
I couldn't say enough good things about our experience staying at this home. The only thing better than where we stayed was the people who live there year round. The whole way home we talked about coming back again soon. Family Friendly, peaceful getaway. Our only concern was the proximity to "things to do"...we found out there is a small town close by with more than enough of the comforts you could need. If you want to get out an about there are beautiful parks all around, and if your like us, you can just stay on the property and enjoy plenty of relaxing fun things right on property. Thanks Fay and Jay!

Excellent Time
Faye and Jay are the best. They treat you like family, we didn't want to leave. We had fresh eggs every day and on Thursday we got to pick our own sweet corn right off the stalk. They even said we were to pick more corn to take home with us. The place is very clean and comfortable, and stocked with goodies like candy and coffee. The views are amazing and we saw both sunrise and sunset. Faye gave us a tour of the dairy farm and our girls got to bottle feed calves. The pond was not being used so we got to use that also. This is a great place to stay and even better people to stay with. I hope we can do this again. Thank you Faye and Jay for a great week.

Incredible Views, Wonderful Place!
From the moment we arrived we all felt right at home. The apartment had everything you could ask for. Fresh coffee, candy, pretzels, oreos, nice beds, great kitchen, washer/dryer, plenty of towels, and of course an incredible view all around. The kids loved the chickens and really enjoyed being able to grab some fresh eggs in the morning. Faye and Jay were awesome hosts. Thank you for allowing us to look around the dairy farm and the milking process. And thank you for letting us do some fishing on our last day. They also gave us good advice on where to get some pizza. It's also within an hour drive of numerous state parks. We spent time at Rickett's Glen and Watkins Glen and both were awesome! We definitely could have spent a few more days there! We did not want to leave! Such a nice, beautiful getaway! Will definitely be back!

Great Getaway in PA!
My wife, daughter, and I really enjoyed our stay at Faye's Good View Farm apartment! The apartment is very clean, nicely decorated, secluded from the rest of the house, and offers all of the comforts of home in a country setting. The beds are very comfortable and the bath towels are plush. There were jars of cookies, candy, and pretzels, two drawers full of K-cups with at least four kinds of coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. There was also a bag of ground coffee, roasted by her son-in-law Ben, for a morning pot of fresh brewed coffee, and a basket of single serve boxes of cereal if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped for making meals, and the reclining sofas are great for relaxing in front of the television or reading a book. We have never experienced a vacation rental like this place. It was more like visiting friends who wanted us to thoroughly enjoy our stay than just a vacation rental. Faye and her husband Jay are wonderful people and took the time to get to know us, tells us about their lives and journeys, and Faye even spent close to two hours taking us on a tour of the diary farm, which is quite a large-scale operation. Afterwards, Faye gave us a pitcher of fresh milk that we enjoyed with the jar of cookies. The views of the mountains are great, the area surrounding the farm is a pleasant drive, and there's plenty of state parks to visit. We spent a day at Ricketts Glen State Park hiking and saw 18 of the 21 falls. A bit of strenuous hike at times, but well worth it. Great job, Faye (and Jay)!
