"This property is absolutely gorgeous!! The building, the decor, the area are all stunning. And the apartment is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. I went during low season and it was tranquil and relaxing. The beach is one of the longest stretches I've ever been on, and the wildlife and scenery are breathtaking. Gustavo, Hamill, and Julio were all extremely accommodating and super helpful! Gustavo even arranged all my transportation to and from the airport. They were very quick to get me whatever I needed and went over and above by actually escorting me to the market to get some provisions. The hot tub was next level and I used it almost every day. The grounds are beautiful with blossoming flowers and trees and the wall to wall windows in the space made me feel like I was living outdoors. I would absolutely recommend and stay here again! It was heaven with style and luxury and all the help I needed as a solo traveler. "

"El Samay Hotel Botique was the perfect getaway for our family. This is an extremely well-maintained property, right on the beach. The staff were wonderful, especially Percy. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially liked the ceviche de pescado! The rooms are spacious and have air conditioning. Since there are currently only 4 units, the staff are able to provide attentive service to everyone. I noticed that the beach in front of the property was carefully raked each morning. The area surrounding the property (Punta Sal) is safe to walk around, as is Cancas Beach and Máncora. We went on a whale watching tour, which included freshly prepared ceviche and was capped off by swimming with sea turtles. I would not hesitate to recommend El Samay to anyone."

"It is a beautiful place. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food at both restaurants and for the breakfast buffet was delicious. The room was very comfortable and staff immediately responded to an issue with the AC, and a broken cord on one of the window screens. The only negative was trying to arrange for the airport shuttle ahead of time and having to pay for it online through a couple of different websites. My US credit card was not accepted and my bank had fraud alerts set up so I couldn’t use that card. Through WhatsApp texting, I finally convinced the hotel admin person to let us pay for the transportation once we arrived at the hotel, but it was very unpleasant and went on for a few frustrating hours. For a resort that puts such an emphasis on providing excellent service (and provides it in all other respects), the aggravation of trying to pay ahead of time for the transportation was very unpleasant. Other than arranging transport, our stay was wonderful."
