"It was definitely a very unique place to stay especially since it is so extremely dark. I was a bit surprised to have to pay $15 to look through a telescope for a few minutes; I believe this should be an included amenity since the nightly rate is already pricy. "OMG! I didn’t want to leave. Stayed in Dome 7 and it was stupendous. Do yourself a favor and book more than 1 night. It’s a very easy drive to Bryce, Kodachrome, and Wills Creek hikes. Very small but convenient since we came from Capitol Reef and were going to Bryce Canyon the following morning. Cheaper than staying right outside of Bryce Canyon but still very close and no crowds!
