↬ BIKE: Our location is ideal for an enjoyable/mostly flat bike ride to town via the famous Bicentennial
Walk-way/Boardwalk. You will be spoiled by the views along the waters edge and are likely to spot turtles and fish in the vibrant colour of the lapping coral sea (particularly at Turtle Boardwalk). There are cafes and restaurants along the way, so plenty of places to refresh, sit and observe boats coming in and out of the marinas, enjoying the local vibe. Depending on your speed, it is about a 25 min ride to Abell Point Marina, and 30 mins to Airlie Town Centre (we can recommended the best deal in town for bicycle rentals with free drop-off & pick-up in our Local area).
↬ WALK: Plenty of things are walkable from our location, including the beach, Whitsunday Shopping Centre, and Bicentennial Walk-way. If you have time to spare and prefer not to rent a bicycle, you can walk right to Airlie's Town Centre along the waterfront in about 50 mins (depending on your speed/stops; you could make an entire day of it if you stop to take in everything along the way!). There are plenty of places to rest & refresh, but take a water bottle, sunscreen, and hat, as this is North Queensland and can be quite warm.
↬ DRIVE/TAXI: Drive yourself everywhere or get a Taxi 131008 (everything is a short drive from our central location) NOTE- No ubers in Airlie.
↬ FREE SHUTTLES: Some tours & restaurants also offer free shuttles, so be sure to ask when you book with them!
↬ Airport transfers can be booked directly with Heart of the Reef Shuttle.
↬ Fitness Venue is the gym that is nearby, only 5 min walk, fees apply.
↬ Key-less entry, accessible any time of the night for late check ins.
↬ Self check in anytime after check in time 2pm.
↬ We supply a complimentary starter kit for your stay, comprising of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toilet paper, salt and pepper, just to make your stay even easier.
The following Code of Conduct governs tenant behaviour and use of the property. The tenant agrees to follow the guidelines below, for themselves and any visitor they allow at the property.
TENANTS: A responsible adult (over 21 years of age) must always be on this site when children are present.
No unauthorised people permitted to stay overnight. Maximum 4 guests allowed on this property.
NOISE AND NUISANCE: The tenants agree not to cause or permit nuisance at the property. This includes excessive noise, disruptive behaviour. Noise should generally cease after 9pm Sunday through to Thursday and 10pm Friday and Saturday, but consideration should always be given to neighbouring properties. The guests agree that the premises will NOT BE USED AS A PARTY HOUSE.
PARKING: is available off and on street.
GARBAGE/TRASH AND RECYCLING: Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling accordance with the usual practice, bins have been provided. NO rubbish is to be thrown in the garden.
PREMISES CONDITION AND CLEANLINESS: The tenants agree to leave the premise in a clean and tidy condition upon vacating, with all fittings and chattels in their original condition and position at the beginning of stay. All items provided for use are to remain property of the premises. Tenants are to advise the property manager of any damage or disrepair within 12 hours of this occurring. Any repairs for damage or excessive cleaning that is attributed to the tenants stay will be paid for by the tenants; including but not limited to stains on sheets and towels.
KEYS: At the end of the agreed tenancy, tenants agree to lock the premises, close all windows turn lights and air conditioning off and return one key to the lock box Any lost keys will be replaced at the tenant’s expense. Please make sure you lock up each time you leave the property.
SMOKING: All tenants agree to abide by the no-smoking rule anywhere inside this property, only allowed to smoke outside with all sliding doors closed.
TERMINATION OF ACCOMMODATION: If tenants are found to have contravened any of the above Code of Conduct responsibilities, a verbal warning will be issued. If the contravention is not rectified immediately the accommodation booking will be terminated within 2 hours’ notice of the Property Manager’s discretion. No refunds will be made.
