"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. "We all had an absolutely wonderful time. Villa Cecilia is everything we hoped for, and more. We loved the design of the house and the garden, inside and out. The pool is lovely and a good size. It was perfect for relaxing. Castlebuono, the nearby town, was really worth a visit, particularly the frescos in the church crypt. "Wow. What an incredible holiday we had! We arrived in the early hours of the morning due to a flight delay and it was no problem and the hosts happily showed us how everything worked. The villa is just stunning, we spent the majority of the days in the pool with our three children- 10, 8 and 4. The steps going the full width of the pool means they could all stand up at some point which was incredibly helpful! Any time a gardener had to come we were given plenty of notice by the hosts also. "Tolles Haus mit gehobener Ausstattung. Absolute Ruhe mit Hängematten und grandiosem Ausblick. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, was in Italien nicht immer der Fall ist.
