"Amazing hotel. The staff was incredible. Every member was eager to please and they all went out if their way to help us with anything we needed. The front desk, the bar, the restaurant, breakfast- there are no nicer people in the world. Rooms were small but so clean. Bed was all white bedding and super comfy. Parking was a breeze and the garage was a fun sight to see for our kids. Close proximity to everything- the lake, shops, restaurants. The only issue I had is I wish we had stayed longer here!!! "

"We absolutely loved this hotel. It's an easy pleasant walk along the lake from the station. The reception staff are multilingual and are very helpful. We chose a studio room with lake view. It was super comfortable with an amazing view of the lake. There are lots of restaurants in Locarno but we decided to include breakfast and evening meal at the time of booking. Breakfast is buffet style and offers a super range of excellent quality foods. Supper was waiter service; sometimes it's à la carte, other times an abridged menu. But regardless every dish was excellent! You will not be disappointed. The head waiter is marvellous and made each evening an enjoyable experience, he was pleased to explain the dishes to us and I noticed him doing so in several languages. His team are professional and friendly; they simply make you feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed. The garden setting for the restaurant is lovely with the lake visible through the trees and shrubs. The hotel is spacious and kept immaculately clean. There is a pool, small but perfect for a cooling dip. We didn't use the gym. It was far too warm to use the roof terrace, the view up there is fabulous. We flew in via Milan, transferred by bus to the central station and caught the train direct to Locarno. An Italian woman on our flight said Locarno is the most beautiful part of Majjiore. I can't compare but I think she may be right! If you go, we can definitely recommend the Arcadia Hotel. Isola Brissago is a must see."

"A great stay. We loved our three nights at the hotel. The only negative was that the pool was not heated so it was impossible to get into. We wojld like to have been abme to swim on our summer holiday!"

"Beautiful, elegant hotel. Spa is amazing! Outdoor pool is great to relax by, my grandchildren loved swimming in the spa pool as well. Service and food were excellent, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The lake views from our room were gorgeous. Can’t say enough good things!"

"Beautiful property with spa facilities and a large indoor pool. Many rooms have balconies overlooking lake Lugano. Easy bus ride to downtown. Staff was always friendly and helpful. "

"Super clean hotel and friendly staff. Good location, few minutes walk to the lake and 20 min walk to Laguna. Excellent funicular nearby, fab views from there. Really good bus service to Laguna or other places which is free with a Ticino card (available at the hotel) We went to Morcote village on the bus which is definitely worth a visit. "
