"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "

"Agradável , uma boa vista sobre o rio . Só uma coisa a apontar , fomos no Inverno em que foi necessário ligar o aquecedor . Ao ligar o aquecedor no máximo de energia, ficávamos às escuras. Notou-se que era um problema do consumo de energia da habitação . Causava um impacto tão grande na rede elétrica da cabana que chegava a provocar queda de energia. "

"For me it was a terrible experience, they didn't change the bath towels, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, there was no soap for bathing, in short, I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it, terrible accommodation"

"We had 2 rooms and they were both extremely clean and so picturesque. It was a rainy night and our room was a bit chilly but fortunately my son and his girlfriend in the other room prefer a cool room we used the extra blanket in their room and had a cozy sleep. The only less comfortable part was that there was only a single pillow per person and they were a bit small. The breakfast the next morning was amazing, with so much variety and homemade goodness."

"The owner, Silvio, couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. The property is unique, beautiful and comfortable. In addition there was a lovely welcome gift of wine and pastries on the kitchen table when we arrived. Silvio has also created a website with all the information his guests could possibly need while visiting. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property."

"Beautiful new property! Stayed for 2 nights in mid September and had a wonderful time. The staff were very helpful providing dining options in a near by town and checked in via WhatsApp to ensure our stay was running smoothly. "It was a Big surprise when we pulled up in front of the property! This was a 17th Century “Casa” which is still owned by the members of the founding family. It was like entering a museum. There were original portraits of the family going back 4-5?generations. Original furniture. The hostess was very kind and the breakfasts were delicious with fruit, cheese, meat, fresh fruit, local artisan baked goods 2 kinds of juice , coffee and teas. Could not have asked for more! Would highly recommend this...

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."
