"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall. Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. "There are hardly enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was at Moonfra. The property is located in a charming village outside of Asti, with many nearby villages with delicious restaurants serving piemontese cuisine. Chiara and her family could not be more welcoming and helpful. My only regret is that our stay was too short. We look forward to returning soon."

The property was quite basic for my taste and in a more rural area than I would have liked especially as I was driving on narrow country roads at night to return to the property. Thankfully it was a quiet enough area. The host Laura was very friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything that you needed but for my taste very basic. The garden area was nice and quiet.
