Four Seasons Home on 3 + Acres with Streams Borders Pisgah National Forest
Stoneybrook is an extraordinary property that has numerous streams with massive stands of laurel and lush foliage bordered and protected by the US Forest Service. Enjoy walking the nature trails with unusual native wild flowers and an awesome stand of trees of many varieties (some of which are marked and identified... one hickory tree is estimated to be 150 years old).
The very spacious 24 by 28 feet outdoor pavilion with a stone fireplace is a favorite gathering place for each guest. Imagine a romantic evening listening to the crackling fire with your love, regardless of the weather or curl up with a good book while listening to the beautiful song birds and the babbling brooks.
We provide many magazines for your reading enjoyment. You will find many books with points of interest of this area and games and such for children. Provided are two mountain bikes for your pleasure.
The Vineyard with hardwood floors, cathedral ceiling, skylight windows, and cable television. Brookside offers hardwood floors, natural finish tongue and groove pine board paneling decorated in nature wood motif. The Nantucket says it all. It has its own skylight bathroom and is decorated to match its name. The cottage, according to many guests, has more to offer than just being a great vacation spot. It is nestled on 3.2 acres bordering Mount Pisgah National Forest and it is located only 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Each of the three bedrooms and 2 baths have been totally remodeled...hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, skylight windows, tongue and groove pine paneling are some of the unique features. Snuggling in comfortable beds as the Katydids sing you to sleep is a dream come true! Beds are 1 king size and 1 queen and 1 full size beds with luxury bedding for your comfort.

This house is just wonderful with beautiful land to explore and am amazing outdoor pavilion and fireplace. The hosts are great and go above and beyond to provide a great experience.
The property was incredible. The outside sitting area was awesome. Elmer was very generous having the fireplace stocked and ready to be lit. Everything we needed was available. I would definitely recommend staying there.
Stoneybrook was truly a wonderful place to stay! From the pavilion, the creek, the beautiful and cozy home, everything was just as described and better. We will definitely be back when we can spend even more time!

Beautiful Outdoor Area and Relaxing Stay
Clean , pleasant, and well equipped. We come to Asheville often and will definitely stay at this lovely peaceful place again.
I was shocked at the level of detail and care Elmer and Ruby put into their vacation home, it was gorgeous, as was the surrounding area. We enjoyed our time here immensely.
The amenities were more than expected, which was very nice. The summer house was a very peaceful retreat. The babbling creek with the benches for a relaxing, and beautiful place to sit. The patio with fireplace and a supply of wood made for nice evenings by the fire. We loved every moment spent at Stoneybrook.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is spotless and beautifully decorated. The yard is wonderful with short trails back to a creek where you can sit and enjoy the babbling brook. Would definitely stay here again.
The home was well outfitted with everything we needed to comfortably enjoy our stay. We absolutely loved the wonderful pavilion, summer house and gardens. We enjoyed coffee every morning in the pavilion and sitting by the fire with a glass of wine evenings, rain or shine. Hanging out in the swinging chairs and hammocks located in the summer house by the creek was also a treat. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
The house was amazing and very well stocked but the best part was the outdoor spaces. We spent most of our time in the pavilion or Summer House by the creek. We definite hope to stay here again in the near future!!
We've stayed at several properties listed through VRBO, and this was the cleanest and the decor was the finest. It's convenient to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are several good restaurants in the surrounding communities, and other services aren't far away. We'd definitely have this quiet, beautiful place at the top of our list if/when we return to the area.
We had a great time, the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. That really added to our visit as we came to see Christmas at the Biltmore and celebrate a birthday. We loved the property!
This was an excellent property for our stay in Asheville area. Our main purpose was to hike in the area and visit Asheville. This location was perfect for this as it was close to the Blueridge parkway and Asheville downtown was less than 30 mins. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you would need for your vacation stay. The outdoor area was awesome and we mostly spent our evening time there. The fireplace and the sound of the nearby creek added to the ambience. We would definitely stay here again.
This property was more than I could have hoped for! We went for a long girls weekend and had the best time. The Summer House was the favorite of my nieces. The outside covered area was definitely my favorite! We cannot wait to go back!
