Quaint cottage
Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay.

Parfait pour notre séjour en famille avec tous les cousins. Espace de vie très agréable pour 10 personnes devant un bon feu de cheminée.

Le gîte est un très beau bâtiment ancien avec beaucoup de cachet, il est bien équipé, mais il mériterait un bon rafraîchissement et la propreté laisse à désirer. Compte tenu du prix, nous nous attendions à mieux ! Grosse déception !

maison très agréable et spacieuse pour une famille de 4 enfants. grand jardin pour le chien. Nous avons passé un très bon sejour. Tout était prévu avec tous les equipements pour bebe. Lieu très bien situé, à proximité des châteaux. super hôte et très bien accueillis par Marie Claire. on recommande.

Hof eines ehemaligen kleinen Weingutes im Dorf
Ganz unkomplizierter Check in. Schoene Ferienwohnung im ehemaligen Stallgebaeude mit alten Bruchsteinmauern, alten Keramikfussboeden, Balkendecken mit Holzboeden fuer das obere Stockwerk. Sehr behutsam und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Nicht fuer Alle bequeme, steile Treppe zwischen 3 Schlafzimmern oben und Toilette und Bad unten. Fuer Kinder viel Platz zum Spielen und Toben. Hervorragende Lage, um zu Schloessern und Gaerten der Loire und Spazierwegen an den kleinen Fluessen zu gelangen. Fuer Radfahrer sehr gut, ansonsten Auto erforderlich. Wir haben es vom 12. bis 19. Juni 2023 sehr genossen!

Nos amis et nous-même avons été extrêmement satisfaits de notre séjour chez Marie Claire. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu de location à tous ceux qui recherchent un beau cadre, une belle demeure spacieuse, la qualité des relations avec la propriétaire et la personne de l'accueil ainsi que leur disponibilité et réactivité lorsque nous avons une question à poser. Le seul problème, c'est qu'on n'a plus envie de partir...! Merci pour tout.

Séjour très agréable
Nous avons passé 4 jours très appréciables en famille dans cette chaleureuse maison. Marie-Claire est très accueillante. La literie est de très bonne qualité et la cheminée est un vrai plus pour les soirées un peu fraîches. Maison idéale pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire.

Ruhiges Domizil, ideale Lage
Altes Gehöft, liebevoll ausgebaut. Viel Platz mit großem Garten zur Mitbenutzung. Die Eigentümer waren nicht vor Ort, die Übergabe erfolgte jedoch unkompliziert durch eine hilfsbereite Verwalterin. Von dort sind Tagestouren nach Blois, Tours und allen möglichen Schlössern sehr gut möglich. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nach kurzer Autofahrt vorhanden.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison de famille où nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Le jardin est très agréable avec toujours un coin d’ombre très apprécié et la maison est charmante, pratique et décorée avec goût. Location idéalement placée pour découvrir la région et goûter au calme après une journée de visite de château !

Charming and lovely country house
I have rarely been so charmed by a vacation rental. Marie-Claire's house dates to 1614, stone walls, rustic ceiling beams, spacious rooms, and a peaceful and large outdoor space complete with climbing roses. Marie-Claire was a gracious and attentive host. As a base for visiting the chateaux of the Loire Valley and the many beautifu towns in the area, we couldn't have enjoyed any accommodation more. Being able to end each day with dining and sipping wine in the peaceful, picturesque garden was such a bonus. Lots of room for all of us.

Perfect getway in a village near Loire river
Our 3-day vacation was perfect, the house is beautiful (made of stone >300 year ago and very authentic), has a privat yard and graden with a playground for children, barbeque pot was provided. Marie-Claire is very kind and pleasant host, she meet us at the arrival and explained and showed us everything on the property. The house is very spaceful, three rooms upstrairs and a kitchedn a separate living room at the ground floor. Bath and toilet are very clean and modern. Kitchen has everything we needed. The barn in the yard has a ping-pong table with lights and 3 bikes to explore the vicinities. We enjoy our stay very close to nature in this house. The old town of Blois is 10 min drive away, and the famouse Loire castles are also very close (10-30 min drive in different directions). Thank you Marie-Claire. We will come back if will be in France in future years!

Charmante demeure proche des sentiers pedestres
Belle propriété avec un jardin magnifique.on se sent en vacances des qu'on arrive. On a accès à toutes les dépendances. Seul bémol il faudrait une seconde salle de bain et toilettes mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un très bon séjour et ne sera pas un obstacle pour y séjourner de nouveau.

Notre expérience
3 hommes de 68 à 72 ans . Le cadre , les jardins sont supers ( sécurité enfants si il y a : on ne peut mieux ) Parasols , tables/ chaises de jardins , table de ping ... pong , 3 vélos ( 'manuels' & surtout très poussiéreux ) adultes sans doute TB nous ne nous en sommes pas servi ( tant la propriétaire nous avait 'intimer' de les rendre : impeccable !!! ) . Les 2 chambres adultes NICKELLES , la troisième chambre immense de 4 lits de 90 cms avait les vitres des maxis vélux sales ( matelas confortables eu égard à nos vieux dos ) . La SdeB minimaliste : dire de la proprio , très minimaliste pas de savon . Les toilettes ( x1 ) une fin de rouleau de PQ .... La cuisine : complète mais mal implantée , on ne peut y manger qu'à 3 , il faut donc manger dans la SàM ( à 5 maxi ) .Il faut impérativement une voiture car dans le lieu dit : aucun commerce .... Enfin malgré tout cela grâce à un temps exceptionnel nous avons passé une petite semaine au TOP . Conclusion : quelques petits efforts à faire ( PQ , torchons , savon ,les verres ( beaucoup à remplacer ) Le micro-ondes TRES TRES mal placé . La seule "Télé" ( un tout petit écran de PC sans doute de 17 pouces ne fonctionnait PAS ... Lorsque ces inconvénients seront réglée , il fera BON y séjourner !
