This is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Braddon. You will have access to:
- high-speed WIFI
- fully equipped kitchen
- building's BBQ area
To get the keys, you can drive 2 minutes from the apartment, approximately 550m away, or take a leisurely 4-minute walk, covering a distance of 270m if you don't plan on bringing a car.
This apartment is located on the 2nd level of the building. You will have access to lifts for easier check-in and check-out.
BEDROOM:
Your bedroom has a queen-sized bed topped with fresh linen. The linen is professionally cleaned and pressed after each stay. Also, the bedroom has a lot of wardrobe space for your luggage.
BATHROOM:
The bathroom has a shower and toilet. I will provide complimentary towels, shampoo, toilet paper and body wash.
KITCHEN:
You can use the kitchen if you're craving a home-cooked meal. While you stay you will have access to the following:
- fridge/freezer
- cooktop
- oven
- microwave
- crockery and pieces of cutlery
- dishwasher
We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as muesli, milk, coffee and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays.
LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a TV that you can use to access your Netflix and YouTube accounts. It also has access to all local channels. Note that we don't provide Netflix, YouTube and other online streaming platforms subscriptions so you will have to use your own account. There is also a central cooling/heating in the property.
LAUNDRY AREA:
A washer and dryer are available to use in the hallway, as well as an iron and ironing board.
PARKING:
The parking garage can fit up to 1 car.
Paid street parking on slip road Mort Street side of the building and also Mort Street.
COMMON AREAS & AMENITIES:
You will have access to the building's BBQ area throughout your stay.
The common areas are managed by the building management and can be closed without prior notice to owners. We try our best to get the most accurate information to update the listing description as much as we can. In this regard, please check for building announcements at the time of your arrival to confirm the availability of common areas.
There is a key safe for self-check-in. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee.
You will also have access to the apartment building's BBQ area on the first floor.
I am available mostly through booking platform messaging but I give privacy to my guests. If there is an urgent issue, you can always call me.
I have been living in Canberra for quite some time now and can help you navigate your way around the local area if you need me. I can also provide you with tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun!
Situated in the heart of all things Canberra. A lot of nearby supermarkets, laundry shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, etc.
The IQ building is directly adjacent to a light rail stop on Northbourne Avenue, a stone's throw from Lonsdale Street's cafes, bars and restaurants, and a short walk to many amenities including the Canberra Centre, the Australian National University, the City Library and Lake Burley Griffin and just a 15-minute drive to the Canberra airport.
The apartment is simple and perfect for a stay close to the city!
We don't provide HDMI cable however, you can bring your own if you wish to connect your laptop to the TV.
Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.
1. Please let us know if you need to check in early or leave later than the standard times. We will charge $55 for each hour of non-scheduled delay to check out after 10 am.
2. I have a STRICT "No Pets Policy" and "No Smoking Policy". These are applicable inside and outside of the property. Any breach will result in a fine of $400 plus any additional fees for specialised cleaning.
3. The cleaning fee covers the general cleaning and replacement of quality linen in the property. Please try to leave the place as tidy as possible. If the property is extra messy when you leave, an extra cleaning fee will be charged (minimum of $50).
4. Please be sure you understand our cancellation policies. You can find our current policy via your booking channel.
5. Only those persons who made the reservation may stay at our property. If you're a business or government agency booking for other people, please contact us in advance to ensure access details are made clear.
6. No parties or gatherings of more than the maximum number of booked guests are permitted. All non-guests must leave the home by 10:00 pm. No loud noises or music are permitted after 10:00 pm. There is a $2000 penalty for breaching this rule.
7. Some consumable items have been left for you in the kitchen (tea, coffee, sugar, milk), that you are most welcome to use. Also, the pantry has a few basics - no need to ask, just help yourself. We don't stock the refrigerator or provide any meals.
8. The property is not child-proofed and we don't have specific amenities for infants (i.e. high chair, cot). However, children under adult supervision are permitted.
