White Mountain Orchard House

Welcome to our orchard house! Nestled on 7 acres surrounded by apple trees you'll enjoy spectacular views of the White Mountains from any room in the house. The house features a fully stocked, modern kitchen, open concept living and dining area, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, family room with sleeper sofa, large wrap around screened in porch, and a game room in the basement (ping-pong, air hockey, foos ball and darts). Comfortably sleeps 6 adults (1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen sleeper).

Located in the heart of the White Mountains you’ll find our home is extremely convenient to all of the area treasures. The area is a perfect place for any outdoor enthusiast which offers great skiing and golfing along with many scenic hiking trails, swimming holes, rivers, and lakes. Many people travel here to fish the streams, kayak the rivers, mountain bike, and rock climb. You're also close to area attractions such as Canon Mountain, Waterville Valley, Loon Mountain, Clark’s Trading Post, Whale's Tale Waterpark, The Flume, and The Polar Caves. If you like to shop you can visit the Tanger Outlets in Tilton, Settler's Green in North Conway, or local shops in Campton and Plymouth. Don’t forget the beautiful fall foliage that our mountains offer; stay here and enjoy the color.

End of School Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at the Orchard House. The porch was perfect for relaxing after a long school year. We enjoyed the amazing view and the ability to eat outside on the screened in part of the porch. The house had everything we needed. We saw deer, turkeys and so many fireflies. It was a wonderful getaway!

Beautiful house with an incredible view
We loved staying at this property. It is within easy driving distance to cute restaurants and activities, but feels secluded and private. The house itself is clean and beautifully maintained. The screened in porch is especially lovely!

White Mountain getaway
The house was in a quiet area lined with Apple trees and nice views. The house had a old school feel with some modern amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend if you like a quiet and peaceful stay. Great “get away” from it all feel.

A Gem of a Location
This was our second visit to the house. We loved our stay. The house is incredibly charming and the location is quiet and peaceful. Everything you need is there including a screened in porch for the evenings, a porch swing, comfortable beds and mountains in the distance. So grateful for the chance to visit.

We came up from Texas to check out the leaves, your property is absolutely beautiful, and beautiful walk down the street with lots of leaves, the apples were delicious we made a pie. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone the scenery is gorgeous, and the house was perfect

White Mountains Vacation
My husband and I have stayed at a few different VRBO's and this one has been our absolute favorite. The location was secluded, peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. I love all things farm house this place really spoke to me. It was clean and located close to the highway we used it a common ground to visit with family who where staying at new found lake and in Littleton. (because no one wants to stay with their in-laws and a house full of kids) it was the perfect place to escape to the quite and be left alone. We will definitely stay again!

The Orchard cottage was a lovely sanctuary. Beautiful inside and out. The hosts were gracious. Lots of time the photos don't live up to the images, but this time, they didn't do the house justice.

An amazing location/house in the White Mountains area
I absolutely loved this White Mountain farmhouse! The location was ideal, close to the nearby attractions in the White Mountains area, including Franconia Notch State Park. The views were a welcomed sight, not to mention the apple trees all around the house. The house itself is well equipped with all the essentials one would need. The screened in porch was one of my favorite parts of the house. If you are looking at staying in the White Mountains, you won't regret staying here, I promise.

Peaceful Spot
My wife has always liked places with wrap around porches, so as soon as we saw this place we booked it. The property did not disappoint in any way, it was meticulously maintained, was 100% private, and had amazing views of the mountains. One thing to note is that the driveway and road leading to the house is not paved, but i had a sedan and it worked out, just keep that in mind if you have a lower car. Otherwise, i wish we were there for longer!

Charming house and beautiful views
Wonderful long weekend in this charming home! It was truly away from everything but allowed our family of five to explore the western white mountains from Franconia Notch to Waterville Valley to Squam Lakes (each about 20-35mins drive). Days started and ended with stunning sunrise coffees and evening sunset cocktails from the porch. Mowing a walking path through the apple orchard would be our one suggestion, but just a "nice to have." We loved it!

Had a wonderful stay. The house was fabulous and just as described.
Nice quiet area, not too far from things to do. We had a little trouble finding the place as we didn’t end up arriving until dark because the cog train broke down and we were stuck on top of Mt Washington but we had a great day to be there! It would have been helpful to know the Mason road was a gravel road that turns to tar and back to gravel, but once we found the place in the dark everything else was wonderful. Rene had left a basket of treats which was greatly appreciated as we didn’t stop for supper and the men folk were hungry. We loved the place and wish we had more time. Would definitely go back there.

Just what the doctor ordered
During these uncertain times, this was certainly what was needed to get away from it all. Our family has stayed at different vacation homes over the years but this one by far, has it all. Absolutely breathtaking views, clean and bright inside, open space that allows everyone to be together. The beds were comfortable. Every convenience was covered- we’re so used to packing all our things but there was so much here. If you like to cook, it has everything you need. The porch swing was my absolute favorite. Thank you for sharing your space! We hope to come back in 2021!

Wonderful Stay
We were looking for a place to take a few days off from work and be away from the crowds in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Rene's house was just the right place for this. The house was meticulously clean and well taken care off. It was close to a lot of hiking trails which we went hiking most of the days. We also just took a stroll up and down the road in front of the house to get some fresh air !! One evening we just stayed in the house just lazying on the couches reading, watching TV etc. Kids loved the playthings in the basement. Rene was so easy to communicate with. Kitchen was well stocked. In short we had a wonderful stay and probably will be returning!!!

Lovely and Relaxing Stay
A lovely little place for a relaxing stay! Two bedrooms upstairs with two full baths and washer/dryer. Both bedrooms have small window A/C units if it's hot out, while the main floor has no A/C it has a tone of shaded windows that generated plenty of breeze for us. Main floor was plenty for us despite having four straight days of rain, and the deck was deep enough that I could easily sit outside on the porch to get fresh air while also staying completely dry. Kitchen had everything we needed to make and serve meals for the two of us, and would easily have supported meals for 6. Internet was fine, no issues for us even in bad weather! Only thing to be aware of is that the drive in does feature two short stretches of dirt road, but both were in great shape and would be easy in anything short of a very low sports car.
