"Beautiful rooms and close to the Venice airport with a shuttle service for a nominal fee. You can't really walk anywhere, but the hotel had a very nice restaurant and we had a wonderful meal our last night in Italy. My only complaint was the lack of a plug in the bathroom to heat up my curling iron, and of course where there were other plugs in the room there were no mirrors."

"A really comfortable hotel, utterly peaceful yet only steps away from the Grand Canal and the railway station. This is the best sleep I’ve had in ages! We had a superior room, with very comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was included in our rate and was a good basic breakfast. Friendly staff added to the whole experience. "

"The hotel is less than a five minute walk from the trains, which I promise you is critical as we saw many struggling through the streets with their suitcases. Our check in experience was fantastic and the staff are very kind, with helpful recommendations. They have luggage storage on site which provides a great piece of mind. The room itself was tucked away and quiet. Very clean room, bedding and washroom. They also have a great indoor lounge and outdoor terrace. The breakfast was plentiful and had many options for everyone. Would definitely recommend Hotel Abbazia for your stay in Venice!"
