"We had a very peaceful time at this well maintained property. Close to nice villages outside of Bologna and easy access to Bologna. Excellent hosts- friendly and caring for our needs. access to the pool on a very hot week was a godsend."

"We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. "The town of Guiglia is great for anyone wants to explore Emilia Romagna by car but avoid actually staying in the larger towns of Modena or Bologna. We had a variety of experiences in Castelvetro, Modena, and other surrounding towns, and all were fairly easy to access from Guiglia. The property itself is lovely, and the kitchen was well-stocked if you want to cook a few meals at home. "Fantastic views and very comfortable! Cozy cottage and quiet stay. It was very clean and had plenty of room for 5 adults aged 24-86! It was exactly as described and the host Mario was wonderful- made himself available to answer any questions we had. Wi-Fi, parking and the 3/3 bed/bath was exactly what we needed. The killer views and quiet neighborhood were a perfect! "

"We are just back from a lovely 2 weeks holiday. The apartment was very comfortable, the gardens and pool were just superb, lots of space. Barbara the host was just so kind and lovely. Easy to get to loads of places and the small village had great pizza places. We highly recommend a stay here."

"This was an incredible home! It was absolutely beautiful! The host was very accomodative, kind, caring, and helpful! The restaurant nearby our stay was absolutely delicious, a place recommended to us by our host! The views of the property and of the countryside from inside the property are outstanding! This was an incredible stay, very historic, and has an amazing Italian culture around it! I would HIGHLY recommend this stay to anyone going near this area! Only 2 hour drives roughly to Florence,...
