"We were visiting our son who had just moved near the hotel in Spain. It was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been in. The history and architecture were striking. The restaurant was delicious and kind to hungry Americans. It’s easily walkable to all Burgos de Osma has to offer including the Main Street and castle. The springs under the hotel were a treat! "A great find. Very characterful. Amazing rooms, excellent dinner, friendly bar, nice shop. Didn’t have time to make use of the spa. In small hamlet of a village with lots of rural pursuits around. We were only there overnight en route back to Bilbao. Would love to go back for a longer stay. "

"The castle is a dream. Wonderful place.Stunning .Super clean. Quiet walkable city down the hill. Beautiful rooms. The only bad thing was dinner time. It’s a shame that are so short staffed. It took forever to get food and a long wait (30 min.) to get coffee after dinner. A hotel with this stature should offer an excellent service all around. "

"Appearance outside of drab colours, needs renovation, tired looking. Inside beautifully shiny wooden steep spiral stairs with option of stair lift. Room had no carpet. Looked old and tired. Unsafe looking legs on the bed! Room was cold, took 4 hours to heat radiator, NO hot water in very small shower room. No restaurant, just bar food. Expensive, considering the lack of facilities!! Glad to leave! Would not recommend!! "

"El hostal está justo al lado de la N1 Burgos- Madrid y se oye continuamente el pasar de vehículos. Por ese motivo es un alojamiento en el cual no repetiría, no se puede descansar adecuadamente. Por lo demás, en líneas generales bien, limpieza, calefacción, comodidad, acceso, etc."
