"We really enjoyed our stay at the Ponderosa cabin. It’s a log cabin so electric outlets are scarce. The cabin is off of the main road by about 9 miles of small twisting paved roads making nighttime driving a challenge. A really nice setting for a relaxing few days. Gary is very accommodating. "

"Wonderful place to getaway from the city. My family spent Thanksgiving here. The owner notified us our cabin was having issues with wifi so she upgraded us to a bigger one with a hot tub. The wifi was still a bit touch and go at first but it was raining and they use satellite. Make sure to print out directions so you can get in and out with ease. Cell reception is almost none existent. But if your trying to get away , you have found the perfect spot! "

The property is gorgeous…it’s beyond that even We got two full days of time with our children! No outside inference. And that was just what we needed after this year! The atmosphere was so peaceful! "The Villas are in a beautiful setting at the top of a large hill surrounded by woods. We were there in the winter so it wasn't very walkable, but you could definitely walk into French Lick from the Villas in good weather. Our condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and all the stuff needed for meal prep. Some of the decor was a bit outdated, but everything was in good shape. French Lick / West Baden is a hidden gem in southern Indiana, with lots of things to do any time...
