"Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the first waterfall which leads to a creek that runs along the backyard. The next one is on the way to the main drag. Saw 5 , one from our boat ride on Seneca lake and again on our ride around the lake which is worth it. There is a beautiful park area at the top with nice walking path. Very peaceful. Due to our health we were unable to do Watkins Glen State Park but did watch a video so we could feel like we saw it. Great area for a long weekend....

"We had a great time! Amazing deck! Beautiful location. The only thing I would warn folks about is the steepness of the stairs to the property - there are a lot of stairs and they are pretty steep. "

"We had a great time - it felt like we were in a tree house overlooking the lake! It rained the whole weekend, but we still enjoyed every minute of our stay. Candace was very accommodating, providing a high chair and pack and play for our little ones. The house is family friendly, well stocked with essentials and the lake views were magnificent! We enjoyed sunset fires at the firepit and skipping stones on the lake. We will definitely return on our next trip to the Finger Lakes !"

"Loved the location and private access to the lake. Sunrises on the porch with coffee were unforgettable. 1950s charm with modern amenities, can’t beat it. Loved the original front door and rotary phone, a step back in time. Steps not a problem, just a little extra exercise. Clean and comfy. Only notes would be to replace the couch (seems well loved) and address the subfloor in the bathroom by the shower, but not deal breakers. Will stay again! "

"A nice out-of-the-way cottage style place to stay. Very quiet in the off-season. Hot water is hot, steep stairs to access from the road. Great decks lakeside. Some living room furniture could use updating and the cottage could use some maintenance (awning, dishwasher, outdoor lighting). Queen bed was comfortable and clean."

"The house location was beautiful. We loved waking up to the view of the lake. Super quiet and serene. Ed and Robin were wonderful hosts. Very communicative and helpful with local information and suggestions. They were ready to assist whenever needed. "We had the most amazing time at the Pump House! The house was clean, up to date, and beautiful. The property was an absolute dream. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the trails, fields, and ponds on the property and we enjoyed watching the deer and fox in the morning. The hosts were very warm, welcoming, and helpful. "Beautiful view. Hard to overstate how gorgeous it is. Host provides a lot of helpful mod-cons that we didn't expect. Only major issue is ticks! If you bring a pet, do not let it stray from stone driveways and make sure it's up to date on preventive meds. Our (always leashed) dog must have brushed some high grass on walking trails on property and had more ticks on her than I have ever seen at once. "
