'U Casin' is a stunning villa located 1,000 feet above sea level in the Campanian mountains, offering breathtaking views of the Bay of Salerno. Perfect for families and groups, the villa is available for bookings from Saturday to Saturday, for as many weeks as you'd like, with check-in at 2pm and checkout at 11am.

Situated 75 minutes from Naples Capodichino airport and only a 35-minute drive from Salerno (QSR-Costa d'Amalfi) airport, the villa offers easy access to the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and the magnificent Greek temples of Paestum. Nearby attractions include Cilento National Park, the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius, as well as beautiful beaches and aqua parks just 35 minutes away. Only 3 miles from the villa, the medieval town of Campagna offers charming streets, fascinating buildings, and a variety of shops, restaurants, and pizzerias. For those who enjoy shopping, the Cilento retail outlet is just 30 minutes away.

While the villa retains its authentic Italian style and character, it is equipped with modern comforts and furnished to a high standard. Outside, two terraces surrounded by olive trees provide stunning views of the Litoranea plain and the Bay of Salerno. The outdoor space features a built-in BBQ and a traditional wood-fired pizza oven, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco. A portico wraps around the front and side to offer shade from the Italian sun, and a newly built pergola sits by the pool. Parking is available for up to three cars, and both terraces are fully lit for nighttime use, including pool lighting, so you can enjoy the outdoor spaces well into the evening.

Rural Escape
What a lovely stay we have had at U Casin. Val and Lib were perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough to help us. We had a fabulous evening with them making pizza and cooking it in Libs wood fired pizza oven - what a highlight! The pool was fantastic and the main reason we chose the villa, it did not disappoint! An amazing holiday, one we will remember for a very long time.

Wspaniałe wakacje z pięknym widokiem
Spędziliśmy dwa tygodnie w tym ciekawie położonym domu, z przepięknym widokiem na góry, morze i niżej położone miasteczka. Widoki i absolutny spokój w dużej mierze rekompensują konieczność dojazdu długą, krętą i stromą, w połowie szutrową drogą. To właściwie jedyna niedogodność tej lokalizacji, Dom położony jest ok 1,5 h drogi od Neapolu, 0,5 h od plaży i ruin Paestum. Gospodarze przemili, bardzo uczynni i kompletnie bezkonfliktowi. Częstowali nas owocami i warzywami ze swojego ogródka. Przestronna, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia ze zmywarką i stołem jadalnym zarówno wewnątrz jak i na zewnątrz. Spory basen na wyłączność, leżaki, zadaszenie. Widok z basenu zachwycający. Na wyposażeniu ręczniki w pokojach i plażowe. Na pewno przydałaby się klimatyzacja, choć upały nie dokuczają tak bardzo z uwagi na grube mury i położenie za wzgórzu. Najbliższy sklep w miasteczku Puglietta, do którego trzeba zjechać samochodem lub dojść pieszo (ok. 30 minut w jedną stronę). Doskonały kontakt w języku angielskim. Dojazd, który początkowo wydawał nam się trochę uciążliwy, nie przeszkodził nam w odbyciu kilku wycieczek do okolicznych atrakcji, w tym polecanych przez gospodarza. Zachęcamy do odwiedzenia tego miejsca.

Lovely spot...very relaxing!
We all loved this villa. Having the private pool was great for the kids. Yes the drive up is tricky but worth it. One thing for me I missed was being able to wander out during the evening. No fault of the property. The villa is well presented and with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. I just wish it didn’t have WiFi as then you’d totally get away from the world (however understand more guests probably want this than not). The villa, pool and outside spaces were well maintained and clean. All in all a great place to stay!!

Absolutely wonderful!
What an amazing place. The house was clean, very well equipped and perfect for two families as we had a floor each. The pool was fantastic and has wonderful views across the valley and to the mountains. Val and Lib truly were perfect hosts. Their knowledge of the area and the best activities and places to visit made our trip exciting and allowed us to see real Italy. The boat trip along the coast to Amalfi, Pompeii and the Greek temples are totally worth visiting. I definitely hope to return very soon.

Terrific week off the beaten track. Literally. Spectacular location, great pool, great views, bats, wild boar...what more do you need for a relaxing week ? Its easy enough to get to pizza places, small mountain towns and supermarkets. Recommend Paestum, Pompeii, Ravello, some spectacular local cave systems and the Amalfi Coast. Lib and Val are very friendly, well informed and unobtrusive hosts and don't forget to make friends with Purdy the guard dog.

Excellent accueil de Lib. Il a résolu immédiatement nos petits problèmes (lave linge, chauffage) et nous a donné tous les conseils pour notre approvisionnement et nos sorties. Nous sommes arrivés fin avril avec un ciel très gris et de la pluie et du vent mais nous avons retrouvé un temps plus clément. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce gite bien placé (malgré un accès cahotique): très belle vue, aménagements extérieurs sympas, grande tranquilité. Nous avons été enchantés par ce séjour dans cette région superbe et rencontré des gens simples et très accueillants. en résumé Une très belle découverte

Wonderful place
Location was great, near little village but still in your own peace. Stunning views to the seaside. Temperature was perfect on the mountainside (warm but not too hot). House was clean and spacious. Swimmingpool was cleaned early every morning with automatic cleaning robot and there was also modern water cycling system in the pool. Householder Lib was very nice and helpful if we needed something. There’s lot of activities and sights to see near the house (of course rental car is needed), but without masses of tourists, which was one of the main reasons why we rented this house.

Cadre exceptionnel à couper le souffle !
Nous avons séjourné une semaine avec trois jeunes de 17 et 18 ans. Ce fut une semaine simplement parfaite. Nous avons fait nos courses à Eboli juste avant d’arriver car la maison est un peu isolée puis nous avons passé un séjour formidable. Nous avons pu visiter Capri et Pompéi. Puis repos à la maison qui invite au farniente. La piscine est très grande et belle sur sa terrasse panoramique. Notre hôte Lib est très sympathique et discret. Il nous a donné d’excellents conseils : fournisseur d’huile d’olive et sortie à Campagna. Bref un séjour idéal et magnifique !

Prima verblijf, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het uitzicht nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Zeer goed onthaal en aardige meest enthousiaste eigenaar ooit ontmoet. We hebben van hieruit allerlei dagtochtjes gehouden maar in de directe omgeving valt ook nog veel te zien.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus mit Weitblick
Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas abgelegen in den Bergen, zu Fuß etwa 25 Minuten vom kleinen Ort Puglietta (mit Laden, Bars). Unser Vermieter hat uns im Dorf abgeholt und beim ersten Mal zum Haus geleitet. Das Haus liegt am Hang mit einer traumhaften Aussicht über das weitläufige Tal auf die umliegenden Berge und auch bis zum Meer. Es gibt eine große Wohnküche mit sehr guter Ausstattung, vier Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer und ein Gäste-WC, so dass man viel Platz hat. Vor dem Haus ist eine große Terrasse mit überdachtem Sitzplatz und Grill. Ein paar Stufen nach unten ist vor dem Haus ein großer und sehr schöner Pool mit vielen Liegen, den man als Mieter/in exklusiv nutzt. Insgesamt ist es ein perfekter Ort zum Ausspannen für Familien, für uns war es auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge, zum Beispiel nach Salerno. Der Vermieter ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gibt super Tipps und hat alles getan, unseren Aufenthalt perfekt zu gestalten. Wir freuen uns schon darauf, mal wieder in diesem tollen Haus wohnen zu können.

Wat een fijne week!!
We hebben met z’n zessen een fantastische week gehad in dit prachtige huis. Contact vooraf met de verhuurder was erg goed. Huis en buitengedeelte zijn in het echt vele malen mooier dan de foto’s doen vermoeden. Erg fijn terras waar altijd een plekje in of uit de zon en de wind te vinden is met een echt fantastisch uitzicht, ook ‘s avonds. Het zwembad is heerlijk, bedden en keuken zijn prima. We mochten ook groente uit de tuin gebruiken. Lib is erg behulpzaam en geeft goede tips en adviezen. Het huis ligt centraal tussen Almafikust, Paestum, Pompeii, de Vesuvius en het strand. Alles is makkelijk te berijden. Al met al een hele mooie week gehad. Echt een aanrader. Lib, hartelijk dank.

our best Italy vacations
We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful Villa in August 2019 and had really great time. The pool was big enough that our 8 Kids found place there and played all the time in water, so we could relax. The view is fantastic, especially in the night. In the house itself everything is avaialble, what you might Need in vacations and is in good condition. We also enjoyed Walking down the hill to the small Village Puglietta and purchase some original local groceries like Stone oven bread, mozarella, Mortadella, olives. We found excellent olive oil in the local raffineria. We went to Vesuvius, to beautiful snorkling beach and even did fishing in the next river. We definitely have still a lot of Sightseeing to do around this place. However most important for us was to rest from the busy daily life, even having many children around and this was definitely possible here. Thank you so much Lib and Val for all your support! Special thank to Purdey, the lovely dog. It was a great time we spent in this house and would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a calm restful non touristic place for the Holidays in the heart of Italy. Looking Forward to our vacations next year in the same house :-) 2 big families

Lovely villa with a beautiful view.
Very nice looking villa with a gorgeous view. De beach is a 30 minute drive away, but the villa does have an amazing ocean view. At night time it's very beautiful as well. The swimming pool is pretty big and well maintained every single day. From the near village Puglietta it is approximately a 10-15 minute drive to the villa up hill with some narrow turns on route, two of them are pretty steep. If you're a confident driver you'll be perfectly fine, as we could do it with a minivan without any problems. The host, Lib, is very hospitable and kind. He will help you with whatever you need and has some great tips for places to eat and visit as well. He stays in a secluded part of the villa and has a very cute dog. The host speaks English very well. Keep in mind that the locals in nearby areas mostly aren't very good with the English language (but hey, there is Google Translate nowadays). The villa is cleaned before your arrival. It's not perfect, but good enough. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it anytime.

Traumhafter Blick und großzügiges Haus
Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und hat einen fantastischen Blick. Der Eigentümer ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hat viele tolle Tipps, die unseren Urlaub verschönert haben. Wir waren Ende März dort und das Haus war sehr gut geheizt. Die Einrichtung ist zwar einfach, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Pompeji, Neapel, Paestum und die Amalfiküste sind gut mit dem Auto erreichbar (ca 1 Stunde in jede Richtung). Nur 5 km entfernt ist das sehr schöne mittelalterliche Dorf Campagna, wo wir wunderbar gegessen haben. Es war eine herrliche Woche!

A gem in a stunning landscape
We had a lovely week. Lib o Val has a hostess that made us feel like home from the first day. Everyone in the family became so fond of this area that we definitely want to return. The road up to the house requires a good car and we recommend an automated car. Attractions are within easy reach. The sea, historic sites, small cozy towns and Naples with the team Napoli. Un vrai paradis !
Nous rentrons de 2 semaines passées à U'casin et tout était parfait : la maison est spacieuse, propre, bien équipée, très agréable à vivre, et bénéficie d'une vue époustouflante sur la vallée et la mer au loin. Un peu isolée, en pleine nature et donc très au calme (mais à 10-15mn de toutes commodités), les journées sont bercées au chant des cigales et les nuits à celui des grillons. C'est un point de chute idéal pour visiter la région (Pompei, Herculanum, Capri, Positano et la côte Amalfitaine, Paestum, Maratea...). Les propriétaires occupent la partie droite de la maison mais restent d'une discrétion absolue. Pourtant Lib est un vrai passionné, de sa terre et de sa maison, et ne demande qu'à transmettre cette passion. Ses conseils valent de l'or et ses légumes sont un vrai bonheur ! Bref on est bien au-delà de la simple location de vacances. Nous avons adoré !
