The dinner and breakfast was excellent as was experience in the bar. The room was clean but the Airconditioning did not work and as a result the night was uncomfortable.

Location location location
You'll struggle to find a better location than this one anywhere in Italy, possibly even the world. High up on a mountain overlooking the Italian riviera and at the gates of the protected Portofino national park. The hotel interior is a bit dated -it's as if they have become complacent because of their location - but overall, this is a great place to stay.

Great location
Hotel is in an ideal location for waking on the Portofino peninsula and probably has the best views of any hotel in the area. Has a lovely terrace and pool outside overlooking Camogli and the bay right round to Genoa. The hotel is almost at the highest point on the peninsula, making it some distance from Camogli. However, the hotel runs a shuttle bus to Camogli a few times a day and in the evening so it is well worth being up here for the views and access to the national park. The hotel itself was clearly once very grand but is in need of an update. Our bedroom was small and quite shabby really and the sea view we has requested (and for which we had paid extra) turned out to be similar to the count of montecristo's sea view. We didn't use the restaurant for anything other than breakfast but that was great, with a good choice and in a fantastic setting overlooking the bay.

Beeindruckendes Gebäude mit historischem Flair
Lage und Ausblick sind umwerfend. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Cinque Terre und andere ligurische Ziele. Frühstücksterrasse ist herrlich. Auch das Abendessen ist liebevoll angerichtet und phantasievoll gekocht. Shuttleservice nach Camogli ist unheimlich praktisch.

Incredible view from the Hotel and our room,
The Staff was wonderful, helping us with our questions and querries. The Hotel is situated in a very calm place on top of a Mount, the road leading to the Hotel is in adventure of it's own. 2 kilometers of climbs from the main road. There is a free shuttle bus coming and going from the Hotel, there is a schedule but it is very flexible to please the guesses.

Ottimo albergo con vista mozzafiato
Un albergo posizionato sulla collina sopra Camogli (2km) che ti permette di godere di una vista meravigliosa e una tranquillità impareggiabili. Dotato di servizio navetta gratuito è possibile raggiungere il centro di Camogli in pochi minuti senza alcun tipo di disagio. La cortesia del personale è davvero eccellente, andrebbe un po' rimodernato nelle stanze (tv a 14 pollici sono ormai da antiquariato soprattutto per strutture di questo tipo), ma nel complesso davvero ottimo in tutto.

Cadre exceptionnel .hôtel idéal pour le repos.service et propreté de qualité.personnel très agréable et serviable(mention spéciale au personnel du restaurant).Pour être complet, une remarque sur le petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus(pas de jus de fruit frais) et le restaurant,qui,tout en étant très bon,à une carte restreinte et peu variée .

bellissima vista
Hotel molto bello con camera ampia . Panorama mozzafiato . Prima colazione ottima soddisfa a mio avviso tutti i gusti. Ideale per we di relax. Ottimo per la posizione per chi ama le escursioni per poi rilassarsi alla spa. Personale cortese del resto è un 4 stelle
