"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "Lovely peaceful villa with just the sound of the cowbells and the birds. Had everything we wanted. Perfect for our family of 5 and family dog. The owner was really helpful with arranging a vet visit for us to comply with taking a dog abroad and also when the car needed repairing."

"Linda and Andres were fantastic hosts. The property is a converted barn and well-equipped. It’s in beautiful valley, close to the Rio Sella where you can swim. The garden area is mainly above the house. We didn’t use the bbq because we had our own, as we’d been camping elsewhere. There are plenty of fruit and nut trees nearby and the locals seemed happy for us to take peaches, walnuts and apples! Recommended."

"This was a wonderful apartment in a good location for us. It was an easy walk to a grocery store, good restaurants, and the cathedral and museums. The apartment was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The price in mid November was unbelievably low for such modern and convenient lodging."
