Situated in the heart of Minho, Costa Verde, Casa da Armada has its origins in the mid-eighteenth century era of the Napoleonic wars in Portugal. The house served as headquarters to Napoleon's troops. Built entirely in summer 2010 maintains the original design having been used local materials in its interior and exterior such as slate, shale and granite. The walls were painted in a Venetian red so typical of Mediterranean houses with the cortene steel gives it charm and modernity. With about 400m2 of covered area and 4 000m2 uncovered area, the house is divided into two floors, reaching the rooms, kitchen, bathroom, dormitory with toilet and laundry on the ground floor and four suites on the top floor .

The kitchen, modern and equipped with appliances has a large glass door with direct access to an outdoor terrace, ideal for meals. Here, the table of exterior wood with 5 meters long in the vineyards is the perfect place for breakfast and dinner al fresco by candlelight on warm summer nights.
The living and dining room have large large windows to the outside gardens which give it a great luminosity. In one of these gardens with fruit trees, vines and olive trees comes the pool of 12x6 meters coated macarada white tablet which gives it a fantastic shine. Next to the pool a wide relax area, perfect chill out and comfortable garden furniture for sunbathing. Alternatively you can enjoy the pergola and shade that borders the pool.
The property is flanked by ditches of water that once fed the mill nearby.
