Whispering Winds - Great House on a Great Point

It's all about the views! This home sits on a stellar point of the Little Niangua on Lake of the Ozarks and offers beautiful landscaping and magnificent panoramic views. Take it all in from the sunroom with walls of windows, relax on one of the two large porches or hang out down on the water on the 2-well private dock. The owner does have a boat in one slip so you are welcome to use the other one (10'x24'). You may even be inclined to show off your acrobatic skills as you jump off the high dive platform. The main level has a lake view primary bedroom with a queen size bed and spacious master bathroom complete with double sinks, walk in shower and a soaking tub. You will also find another bedroom with a queen size bed, a comfortable living room with vaulted ceilings and lovely lake views, a large laundry room and another full bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. It offers an open concept so you won’t miss the action in the adjoining living room. Feed your guests at the kitchen bar or in the dining area next to the kitchen that can easily seat 6 people. Follow the stairs to the lower level for more gathering space and inviting lake views. This level has a full bathroom and 3 bedrooms, one with a twin and a king bed, one with a queen bed and a twin over full bunk, and the third bedroom has a twin bed and another twin over full bunk. This house is located near Captain Ron’s, Franky and Louie’s, Bridal Cave, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, and area marinas. As you can see this property is perfect for your next lake vacation, pack your bags and come on down to enjoy all Lake of the Ozarks has to offer. October Stay at the Cabin
We enjoyed staying at this property with our friends, children, and pets. It's very spacious and kid/pet-friendly. Kitchen utensils and other supplies are abundant. The lake and scenery were amazing, especially during our stay in October. The only problem we had was with the propane grill. We managed to use it the first night (by chance, I guess) but couldn't use it the other nights and had to use either the stove oven or the charcoal grill. There was something wrong with the regulator, I suppose. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend the place.

Great Family vacation spot
Our extended family really enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for all to enjoy themselves or escape for a little quiet time. The kitchen was perfect for gathering and chatting, and the sunroom was a perfect escape location to read or work on a puzzle.We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Retreat
This was our annual family vacation with our six kids 5/6 are adults and their significant others. This property was exactly what we were hoping it would be. The views from the house are magnificent and the house was comfortable, spacious, with excellent amenities. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and also great for everyone to come together to enjoy a meal. You can tell that this home was well cared for and the dock provided a great place to relax and enjoy fishing and swimming. We had a wonderful stay.

Fun filled family vacation !
We are a family of 11 with 3 toddlers, 2 kids, a teenager and 5 adults. The bedrooms were more than sufficient to accommodate our sleeping arrangements. The house layout worked well for us. The house was superbly clean which is a big factor for me. The house was abundantly stocked with towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and toiletries so that we didn't have to buy anything. The kitchen is adequately supplied with plates etc and all the necessary cooking paraphernalia . I asked before we arrived if there was a crockpot. There was not but John went out and bought us one. Very kind of him! The private dock worked out great and the kids spent plenty of hours swimming. We rented a boat for a day and there was no problem mooring it to the dock. John welcomed us the day we arrived and said to be sure to contact him should we need anything. It was not necessary as everything was in working order and no issues. This has been our third family vacation and this was by far our favorite. We would all come back again and recommend the house. My only MINOR suggestions would be a dish drying rack, a few more kitchen towels and kids dishes/utensils. A lamp on the bedside table in the master bedroom. Also, a note that the incline to the dock is very steep so if you have mobility issues, it’s tough.

Family vacation
Great house, plenty of room for the 16 of us. The house was very clean, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The management company responded quickly and was easy to work with. We are planning our next year’s trip, hopefully at the same house. The only negative comments I heard from any family members were; the last set of stairs leading to the concrete walkway had no lights, and it had been awhile since the actual lot had been maintained. (weeds were starting to take over)

Extended family stay over July 4th
This house is perfect for a large family. Great dock, well stocked house, great views. Could view fireworks multiple nights from the porch. Quiet family friendly cove, water was never rough - unlike other parts of the lake. The three refrigerators were a great amenity not listed, we brought coolers we had expected to use for drinks. Also lots of extra blankets and pillows. The management company was also very responsive.

Great Family Vacation
Our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids 11-16yr) had plenty of room in this house. Great views from every room. Dock was great for swimming and parking your boat. If you need to rent a boat check our Point Oasis, its a bit of a boat ride there and back but great people and prices. Would definitely recommend this house for family gatherings.

Great home with a great location and amenities. Plenty of space for our large group of 13 with plenty of room! Property management was very helpful and prompt. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already planning a trip back!
