Cozy Lake Front Cottage w/dock, perfect family retreat!

Welcome to our little slice of Heaven. Our 3 level lake cottage is a perfect family retreat. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath (walk-in showers) home with a twin loft and 1 day bed for sleeping up to 8 people ( 8 is 2 person per bed, 2 on sofa sleeper, and 1 in loft and 1 in day bed). It is conveniently located just minutes north of Camdenton near Bridal Cave or on the 11MM of the Niangua Arm by water. This is a lake front house with actual shoreline (deep water) and a dock with two empty slips 10x20, this is not just lake access. Located on a quiet street.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils, and a variety of cooking gadgets. We keep sugar, flour, oils, and spices on had so you don't have to worry about the basics. We do have washer and dryers. Basic laundry supplies are available.

The walk in level has a parlor that has one futon and the twin loft bed, bathroom with washer/dryer, and lake view bedroom with a full size bed and walk out deck.
The second level includes a spacious living room with lake view, a futon, sofa, and kitchen with dining area.
The third level includes a bedroom with a queen size bed, bathroom, and a walk out door to the lake. Laundry service is available. Owner lives next door, so you will be able to have quick communication if needed.

We have Wi-fi and our TV's are equipped with YouTube TV, Hulu, Netflix, and more. Cell service is spotty in the house but good outside.

A great house for 2 family's with children to share. It's an off season paradise for fishermen, minutes by water from the Larry Gale public access ramp.

Dock Rules:

1. Please use good judgment and practicel safety first when on the dock or in the water. Use at your own risk.

2. Adult supervision for children under 16 years of age.

3. All children must wear life jackets.

4. Please put dock ladder back to an upright position when done.

5. Shoes are recommended unless in the water.

6. Renters and their guests are responsible for bringing their own life jackets and flotation devices to use on the dock. These items are not provided.

NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED.

Nice lake cabin with everything you need.
Great cabin lake house very close to Ozark amphitheater. Only suggestion is to have the house sprayed for bugs.

Perfect little House
We were in town for a wedding at Kinderhook Castle and wanted to stay somewhere close with a boat slip. This quirky little house was perfect! We didn’t spend a lot of time inside..we were always out on the amazing decks. It was like having coffee in a tree house. The beds were all comfortable and the house was spotless.

Loved this place. Sitting on the deck and seeing the water was so relaxing. The property owner is so amazing. Great communication. Even let us know about bad weather and the best place to be in the house if something happened. Above and Beyond!! The location is great for Ha Ha Tonka Park and Bridal Caves. We had the best time exploring the trails and doing the Bridal Cave tour. Very quiet and amazingly comfy home! Thank you!!!

Property was perfect. Busy during the day on the water but calmed down in the evening. We did a lot of fishing from the dock and rented a jet ski for a day and was able to park it on the dock when we needed a break. The air conditioning was very cold, which was nice during the day, but bring extra blankets for at night.

Nice house. Lots of room. Very well stocked kitchen. Drive was really steep and narrow. Was ok with just a car but pulling a boat and backing a boat is difficult. Other than that Host was wonderful house was great and the view of the lake was absolutely beautiful

Located close to Camdenton on the Big Niangua
We loved our stay at this property. We had a total of 7 people. Two bedrooms, 2 futons and 1 bunk bed. We had two families and everything was just perfect. We loved the outside porch where we hung out and played games in the evening. I really can't find anything negative to say about the accommodations. It was also close to town to pick-up groceries. It was very private and we hope to reserve it again next year!

Extended our stay because of the amazing views, great spacious house, wonderful outdoor spaces!
We stayed there for our 4th of July trip this year, the original plan was to stay Wednesday thru Saturday but since we loved the place so much we extended it an extra day. The views are amazing, there is a lot of space inside. The rooms are large, two full bathrooms with plenty of towels to use. The outside living spaces are amazing too, there are two decks with a nice view. It was great to have dinner outside in the evening and breakfast early in the morning. The dock also has a lot of space and a ladder to get back up after floating or swimming in the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very lucky to have found such a great place. We were also able to take our two small dogs with us, they enjoyed it just as much as we did. Owner was also amazing to work with, she was extremely nice and flexible. We just had a great time while being there, definitely recommend this place! I'm hoping we can come back at some point.

Great house!
The house is super cute! Right on the water. I have never been to the Ozarks and wasn’t sure where all the amenities were. It was $100 cab ride to the Dam and the strip. Uber doesn’t come out this far. However, Walmart delivers which was super convenient. Right next to Bridal cave. was a little put off when we pulled out the hide a couch and there were crumbs all over. The roof did leak and the back door didn’t lock. We didn’t feel unsafe but needs to be an option to lock the door. The Raccoons are jerks and got into the trash every nite. The owners were really nice and helped us start up the grill. Thanks for the stay.

Thanksgiving getaway for a Military family
While looking for a location to allow our family to be with our active duty service members over the holiday, and lets not forget the family pet, I came across this property located within a reasonable distance from Fort Leonard Wood. It seemed to have everything we were looking for and after arriving it was apparent we made the correct choice. The location, along side the water, complete with decks and boat docks, would certainly have been a perfect getaway in the summer. Being November at least we fed the ducks and enjoyed the view. The home was equipped with everything we needed to complete the reason for our trip, which was to prepare a home cooked Thanksgiving dinner for as many Marines as were available. Mission accomplished. The road down to the property reminded us of getting to our camps back home in PA for hunting season. After the initial navigation it was no issue getting into or out of the house. The location is home to many, many, summer residences for those loving the water. Highly recommended. Our thanks to Catrina for her hospitality and attention to our needs. If in the area and looking for a well kept, out of the way location, you would do well to consider this property. Bring your fishing gear too. This is our 4th VRBO rental in 3 different states.

Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay so this isn’t a complaint rather a suggestion. You should probably get a better grill you need to be able to close a lid when grilling pork steaks so you can cook them more evenly.

Great spot on the lake
While it was a bit of a challenge to get to (we were on motorcycles) the property was great and totally as described. The owners were warm and welcoming and even provided us with a couple of SUPs to use during our stay. Will definitely book again when in the area.

Wonderful place right on the lake
