A stylish two-bedroom apartment that offers a contemporary living in a historic Victorian period building in the very heart of Cambridge. The apartment feels very spacious and airy thanks to the original high ceiling and well-sized rooms. It's located on the 1st floor and access is via an internal staircase (no lift).
The apartment also benefits from a communal covered bike storage & one secure parking space within the grounds. Booking with us allows you access to discounts to some cafés & amenities in Cambridge!
The Space:
This newly refurbished apartment boasts a light and flexible open plan design with premium specification, sleek finishes, elegant décor and plenty of storage. There are 2 bedrooms, both of which comfortably accommodates king size beds. One of the bedroom overlooks Parker's Piece. There is a large bathroom with bath/shower and underfloor heating. The large open plan living/dining and kitchen area is bright and comfy. In the living area there is a single ottoman bed that can be used a seat or can be turned into a single bed for a fifth guest. The kitchen area has all the equipment to make your stay even more enjoyable. It has a Nespresso Coffee machine to help you relax during your stay! Here you can find also a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, electric hob with oven, and a fridge/freezer. Please note that the flat is on the first floor and there is no lift.
The Neighborhood:
Situated just off Parker's Piece, this apartment provides easy access to the city centre and a great supply of local amenities including restaurants shops, theatres and cinemas. For some retail therapy, you can browse the many high-street brands and independent boutiques that offer statement pieces. The Grand Arcade Shopping Centre is guaranteed to satisfy all your shopping needs with over 50 stores ranging from fashion and beauty to technology and homeware.
Although Cambridge is a hub for education and shopping, the area is also home to idyllic green spaces; popular spots are Jesus Green, Parker's Piece and the Botanic Garden, making them the ideal escape from city life.
Cambridge is home to a plethora of museums and art galleries, so whether you enjoy history, science, archaeology or zoology. For theatre lovers, Cambridge Arts Theatre and the Cambridge Corn Exchange are also close by which offer a full program of plays, musicals, comedy and well-known live music acts. The national pastime of Cambridge and one of the best ways to see the city is to punt down the river. The brave do the stick-bit themselves but why not treat yourself and a book a gondolier-like guide to navigate the river Cam for you? And of course we cannot forget to mention the 31 colleges that form the University of Cambridge. Getting Around:
The property is right in the City centre so we recommend walking around or if you want to feel like a true 'Cantabrigian', hire a bicycle.

SAFETY & SECURITY: Please make sure you close and lock all the windows and doors when you are not in the property. If the property is found left unsecured (windows or doors open/unlocked) during your stay and/or at check-out, we retain the right to charge a penalty fee. The minimum age requirement is 21 years old (at least one guest must be at least 21 years old).
Once a reservation is confirmed, the lead guest is required to fill in a short online check-in form and upload photos of an ID of the lead guest before checking in. On the form you will need to provide: number of guests staying at the property, method of transport (if parking is required where applicable), reason for your trip (business or leisure), lead guest info (name, email, contact telephone number and address) and finally upload copies of ID of the lead guest. This is part of our Risk Assessment Policy and it is done for Health and Safety reasons (i.e. if a fire breaks out, we need to provide details of everyone staying at the property to the relevant authorities). We operate a self check in system and cannot meet our guests to check their ID in person. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being cancelled and the cancellation policy will still apply.
Just a friendly reminder for guests staying 10 nights or longer: it is essential you schedule either an interim housekeeping service or a linen change during your stay, depending on how long you'll be with us. Failure to do so might incur extra charges at check out if we found the property not in a similar state as we left it at your arrival or if the linen/ towels have been washed in the washing machine or are heavily soiled.
DO NOT wash our linen & towels. They are hired, professionally laundered and ironed and cannot be washed in a domestic washing machine. A fee might apply for each item washed without our prior consent.
