I’m on hand if you need anything, but otherwise I leave you in peace to enjoy your trip to this stunning city of Cambridge.
I genuinely believe that this is one of the best places to stay in Cambridge because when you venture outside, the whole of Cambridge is on your door step. At the end of the road you have a choice of convenience stores, coffee shops and independent bakeries who hand make breads, cakes and pastries to die for. If you turn left out of the front door you’re on Mill Road in a matter of minutes and have your choice of restaurants, independent shops, pubs and bars. It’s bustling area of Cambridge that’s incredibly popular with the locals.
But if it’s the historic part of the city that you’re after, you’re just a few minutes walk away from Parker’s Piece, one of the best green spaces in the city. The colleges belonging to the world-famous university are just a few minutes further along Regent Street where you can also find historic pubs, contemporary bars and restaurants, plenty of shopping choices and of course, the River Cam where punting is a must.
