Was basic but great location if you wanted access to beach away from the busy expensive tourist area
Lots of steps to get to property and built into a hill so not from anyone with limited walking ability. But if you can great views once there and if you use key to gate at top of garden a wonderful tattoria restaurant is 10 min walk away. Marco was very friendly and helpful. It's tucked away amongst some very friendly neighbours would suggest learning some Italian as very little English is spoken. If doing the beaches go to the tourist office in Piestantra or Forte Dei Marmi for a map of the beach clubs and location of the community run ones as much cheaper option we used both clubs and the free beach (very packed/no facilities) if you need shade invest in an umbrella or pay to go in a beach club they range from 25 Euro to 300+ Community ones are best if on budget. Cinque terre is a must drive to marina and get ferry across. We did the full day 5 town ticket but it really does take all day so set off early if you want time in each if had known would have actually been better to just go to one and spend day as so much to look at lovely shops and restaurants and gorgeous sea to swim in around the rocks.
