"This property was beautiful! It was clean and very well decorated. I loved the shuffleboard table and love all the games. Kinda da enjoyed the Kayaking. The kitchen had everything you’d need and extras that we forgot such as foil, bandaids, etc. Very pretty views and overall an amazing vibe and very cozy. The owner Mr. Tim was very nice, helpful, and communicative. We will definitely be back!!"

"Nice quiet relaxing getaway. Not far from Metropolis or Paducah Kentucky. We will definitely go back in warmer weather i would love to be on the lake. Very clean and had everything we needed. "

"My friends and I get together every winter for a few days at a cabin or lodge somewhere in the Midwest. This lodge was, by far, the best place we have ever stayed. Also, it is close to some of the interesting historic parks within the Shawnee National Forest. In addition, Jessica immediately responded to any questions we had while staying there. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking peace and quiet for a gathering of friends or family."

"This was our second trip to KDR and same results as before, it was perfect. Bill and Sharon provide literally anything you need and everything is super clean. It’s perfect for anybody that likes to fish or just relax by a fire. They have a fire pit down by the dock and a large solo stove on the balcony as well. Our boys loved the kayaks and would paddle out for some fishing. Zero complaints and highly recommend."
