Get away on holidays is an exciting moment for many families. Good friends, childs of the same age, the sun, the swimming pool, etc. But being two weeks all together also requires the opportunity to have your own space and intimate moments.

On one side, Occitania's residence offers many advantages of a common outdoor area with a large table for 20 people, a gas barbecue to make thick grilled salt ribs and a shallow pool. Adults and childrens can cool off and play ball. The pool area includes 10 solar baths and small tables for cold drinks.

On the other side, the house has 5 independent apartments that allow families to enjoy intimate moments and be isolated from the rest of the group.

The apartment has two bedrooms for 4 people, one bathroom and a kitchen (fridge, ceramic hob and oven) open to the lounge. The living room includes a TV with Spanish channels and a DVD player. In addition, the accommodation offers free Wi-Fi.

Cars can be parked on the street because there is enough space. The interior of the house is reserved for children and there is a common washing machine for the all guests in the garage zone.

Come and enjoy the holidays with your family or your friends in one of the most beautiful areas of the Mediterranean.

Großes Haus in toller Lage
Wir waren mit vier Familien in diesem Haus und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Es war super, dass jede Familie ihre eigene Wohnung hatte und das fünfte, kleinere Apartment haben wir als Gemeinschaftsküche genutzt, da es dort auch die einzige Spülmaschine gab. Das Highlight ist der überdachte Bereich neben dem Pool, hier steht ein riesiger Tisch, an dem wir mit 17 Personen alle gleichzeitig dran sitzen konnten. Ein erster Schock für uns war der Pool, der mit 1,10m sehr flach ist, was aus der Beschreibung so gar nicht hervorging. Es stellte sich allerdings heraus, dass die Kinder dadurch viel mehr vom Pool hatten, da selbst die Kleinsten (6 Jahre alt) darin stehen konnten. Als Erwachsener sollte man aber nicht irgendwelche Sprünge in den flachen Pool machen. Der Pool war bei unserer Ankunft leider auch relativ schmutzig und trüb, was wir der Agentur auch sofort meldeten. Zwei Tage später wurde er gesäubert und danach gar nicht mehr. Hier gibt es Verbesserungsbedarf, der Pool sollte bei Ankunft schon sauber sein und dann mindestens wöchentlich ordentlich gereinigt werden. Ansonsten war das Haus ok, von den beiden Dachterrassen konnten wir sogar das Meer sehen. Die Lage war sowieso sehr gut: Jede Menge Geschäfte, Promenaden mit vielen Restaurants, schöne Strände und einen fantastischen Wasserrutschenpark - alles in maximal 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Einen Wermutstropfen gab es leider noch: Das Müllsystem ist eine Zumutung. Die Müllabfuhr fährt relativ häufig, wir mussten als Mieter an fünf Tagen pro Woche verschiedene Tonnen rausstellen, und am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes sollten alle Tonnen leer sein. Daran haben wir uns strikt gehalten und beispielsweise den Glasmüll ab Dienstag selbst entsorgt, weil die Glastonne nur Dienstags geleert wird. So haben wir am Freitagabend die letzten beiden Mülltonnen rausgestellt, die am Samstagmorgen geleert werden sollten und sind Samstags früh morgens abgereist, ohne sonstigen Müll zu hinterlassen. Trotzdem wurden uns im Nachhinein 50€ berechnet für Abfälle.

Fun group vacation
We had a wonderful stay at our villa in Calonge. Our contact with the agents was great and they helped us out very quickly with checking in, wifi and leaving the house etc. The pool area was lovely and with a great outdoor table. I would recommend renting a car as it is a bit remote for supermarket shopping etc but overall we had an amazing time here!
