Cabin Rentals in Calhoun County

"Pros...the house is a nicely decorated rustic cabin. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our mixed age level family. Plenty of space for our large group. Beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking space. Cons...the water had a sulphuric smell (not uncommon in cabins), but strong. There were quite a few flys in the house for late November. There was a pipe leaking downstairs that was giving off a really bad smell, making the basement uncomfortable for use. We did however just go buy candles to...

"The house was very nice, with a great deck overlooking the lake. We liked having our boat at the dock, with launch site just down the street. We would definitely stay here again."

"It was as expected for a CABIN. Updated bath was a plus. Usable kitchen although water pressure in the kitchen sink was minimal. Interior was clean and nicely furnished, steep irregular concrete walkways w/no handrails (no lights either) could prove problematic for Seniors w/mobility issues a/cawas nice (3rd week of July)"

"Can up from FL to support family during difficult health issue. Unplanned. Thankfully, I was able to secure this property. Beautiful lake views, fall foliage on display. Host was available by phone and very accommodating. Next visit, will bring family to our location for a day. Perfect for hosting a gathering. Everything you need is provided by host. Was a wonderful respite from the reality of our trip"
