Lovely villa with views
Property is new build and immaculate. Lovely views from the terrace which is south facing and gets sun all day. Walking distance (though hilly) to small village and bars. But only short taxi ride to marina which has some nice restaurants. This was our first visit to Madeira and we loved it. Picturesque tiered mountainside farms and houses. Easy trip from airport though we were surprised by number of tunnels, however only takes about 45 mins to Airport with good run. Some narrow roads on final approach to property but none too difficult and all on proper tarmac/concrete roads. Communications with owner was excellent and e-mails were answered promptly, Highly recommend we will use again when we come back to Madeira.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön. Ausstattung völlig ausreichend.Für die Liegen wäre eine Auflage gut gewesen. Die Wegbeschreibung war etwas schwierig zu interpretieren. Betten waren leider zu schmal und dadurch unbequem.

Nicely kept house with a beautiful view of the ocean from a large terrace. Very well-equipped kitchen for those who like to cook for themselves. Quiet neighbourhood . Good base if you want to visit the western part of the island. A tip for your visit: follow the owner's instructions to the accommodation, as googlemap will send you in the wrong direction. We had a wonderful stay in Calheta!

wunderschönes Ferienhaus
wir genossen einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt an diesem prächtigen Ort. Das Haus war sehr sauber, super ausgerüstet mit phantastischem Ausblick auf das Meer. Wir genossen den Kontakt zu den madeirischen Nachbarn. Auch sehr herzlicher Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Bei Ankunft tropischer Blumenstrauss und einheimischer Kuchen auf dem Tisch. Die erste Anfahrt war ein wenig sportlich zu später Stunde, weil unser Navi von der Hauptstrasse in Calheta immer nach oben wollte anstatt nach unten, wurden dann beim Supermarkt oben abgeholt. Auf jeden Fall würden wir jederzeit gerne wiederkommen und danken Jean für die herzliche Gastfrendschaft, die wir sehr geschätzt haben! Vielen Dank für alles! Jetzt wo wir wissen , w

Relaxing holiday with a magnificent view
The house has truly breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The cleanliness of the house is very good and the contact with the owner Jean was very pleasant and friendly. It was also nice to find a bouquet of fresh flowers and a typical "Bolo der Mel" to welcome us. We found the location of the house very quiet and we were able to relax very well. Tolle Ferienwohnung mit kleinen Makeln
Wir haben den einwöchigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen, wenngleich im Detail einiges schon etwas verschlissen war. Die Dusche war in mehreren Teilen defekt, einige Haushaltsgeräte sowie Gartenmöbel wiesen Defekte auf bzw. entsprechen nicht unbedingt den deutschen Reinlichkeitsbedürfnissen (die ja bekanntlich hoch sind). Dieses hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht geschmälert. Jean ist stets schriftlich erreichbar und freundlich dabei. Wir wünschen Jean die Möglichkeit, während seines bevorstehenden Aufenthaltes die kleinen Dinge aufzubessern.

Genialer Platz zum Erholen und Auftanken
Der Kontakt zu Jean, dem Vermieter war schnell, unkompliziert und immer sehr hilfreich. Nicht nur die Terrasse ist großartig, das Haus ist toll ausgestattet und lädt zum Erholen ein. Die Lage ist fantastisch ruhig gelegen und doch nicht weit von allen möglichen Ausflugszielen entfernt. Einkaufen und Essengehen ist im Umfeld erreichbar, wenn auch nicht immer ohne Auto. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist eindrucksvoll, da stellt sich augenblicklich ein tolles Urlaubsgefühl ein. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.
