Welcome to the Birchwood! Located just steps away from 17th Ave, known for its vibrant atmosphere and 5 star restaurants. The unit features floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light and modern wood tones throughout that add warmth and sophistication. The unit is fully-equipped with all our guests need to have a comfortable stay and to enjoy all Calgary has to offer.

Kitchen:
Equipped with dinnerware for 8, cookware, utensils, glassware, cleaning supplies, cutting boards and everything you need to eat and prepare meals at home.
Appliances include, refrigerator, oven, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle & more!

Bedroom:
1 queen bed with cotton linens, duvet and duet cover. additional throw blanket for extra comfort and warmth!

Laundry room includes everything you need including stackable washer / dryer laundry detergent, dryer sheets and more.

Living room:
Equipped with 50" smart TV. Option to access netflix, youtube and amazon prime. (Must sign into own account)
Comfortable sofa bed and additional linens.
- Designated work space.

Bathroom:
Dual bathtub / shower, storage area for toiletries. All bathroom essentials provided including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, q-tips and cotton rounds.

Patio:
Comfortable bistro set and patio decor to enjoy the summer sun.

Guests may access the entire unit, parking and common areas including garbage room and front lobby.

We will be available if you have any questions or need anything.

Security cameras are located in the building to ensure safety for residents.
1. No Shoes Indoors: To maintain a clean and comfortable environment, we kindly request that guests remove their shoes upon entering the house. Shoe racks are provided at the entrance for your convenience.

2. Quiet Hours: We value a peaceful atmosphere for all guests. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 9 am. Please be respectful of your neighbors during these times.

3. Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in time is from 4pm - 10 pm, and check-out time is at 10 am. If you require different timing, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Late check-in especially for midnight, we will ask for a $50 charge.

4. No Parties or Events: Our property is in a quiet and family-friendly neighborhood. No parties or events are allowed on the premises. Please respect our neighbors' peace and privacy.

5. No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the house. There will be an additional fine for smoking on the property

6. No Pets Allowed: We have a strict no-pets policy in our property. Please refrain from bringing any pets onto the premises. If you are traveling with a service animal, please inform us in advance so that we can make necessary arrangements.

7. Guest Limit: The maximum number of guests allowed is 4. Please do not exceed this limit. All guests must be registered in advance.

8. Respect the Property: We take pride in our home; please treat it with care and respect. Any damages or missing items will be charged to the guest responsible.

9. Security: Always lock the doors and windows when leaving the property, and ensure the property is secure during your stay.

10. Intercom Rule: Please let us know ahead if you have deliveries and visitors that we need to buzz in. For security purposes, will NOT allow unauthorized buzzing. We can buzz in from 9am-10pm. After that, you will need to go down and open deliveries and visitors using your fob.

11. The person who booked is required to send a photo of his/her ID and the full names of the other guests staying for verification purposes only on the side of the hosts.

12. Tesla charging is NOT allowed.

13. Parking will be underground. The height of the parking is 6'11''. If you wish to book and your vehicle doesn't fit or is larger than the size of the parking, we suggest parking outside or using paid street parking.

PERFECT SPOT
Visiting our family in Canmore and included a trip to the stampede. Walking distance to everything we needed, we left the car in the underground parking for the 3 days and just walked! Only criticism the fact that we really needed extra pass cards as it meant we all had to be together coming and going to the apartment.

Overall : excellent!
Overall, great, friendly and responsive host! We requested extra supplies, as well as supplies that probably should have been there in the first place, and they sent them immediately! Amazing! However, the coffee pot didn’t work properly. No joke, it took an hour to make 5 cups of coffee! Anyone who is a morning coffee drinker knows how devastating this is! Lol! They said they would send a new one (after sounding like they doubted what we were saying about it), but it never arrived. After we had checked out, after over 24 hours of telling them about the problem, we asked and they said the delivery company wasn’t able to deliver it. Hard to believe since the first batch of supplies came from a service like Instacart. All in all though, I think they will likely remedy this and it’ll be the perfect place to stay!! Also, the kitchen could use a few more supplies, like a spaghetti strainer. Would stay again for sure though!
