Please note, this is a duplex with a separate suite underneath. Nothing is shared with the other unit except for the ventilation/thermostat. The entry to each unit are on different sides of the home. Sound transmission is possible between units.
House Rules
1. Check-In/Check-Out:
Check-in time is after 4 PM, and check-out time is by 11 AM. Please let us know if you need flexibility with these times, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
2. Smoking and Vaping:
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the house and on the property. A cleaning fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
3. Parties and Events:
Parties and events are allowed until 10 PM. Please be mindful of noise levels, especially after this time, as there is a basement apartment below that could be disturbed by loud music or noises. Parties does not mean disturbing the enjoyment and peace of those in the surrounding areas/spaces.
4. Pets:
Pets are allowed. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring your pet.
5. Noise Level:
Quiet hours are after 10 PM. Please keep noise levels to a minimum to respect our neighbors and the guests staying in the basement apartment.
6. Parking:
Street parking is available in front of the house. Please be considerate of our neighbors when parking your vehicle.
7. Safety and Security:
Please ensure that all doors and windows are locked when you leave the house.
Exterior security cameras are in place for your safety and the security of the property.
8. Waste Management:
We encourage composting and recycling. Blue bins are for recycling, green bins for compost, and black bins for regular garbage. Please do not leave garbage outside of the bins. Regular garbage bags are not recyclable nor compostable.
Green Bin (Compost): Food scraps, food-soiled paper, yard waste, coffee grounds and filters, wooden items like chopsticks.
Blue Bin (Recycling): Paper, cardboard, plastic containers (#1-7), metal cans, glass bottles and jars, empty aerosol cans, Tetra Pak cartons.
9. Damages:
Guests are responsible for any damages or losses to the property during their stay. Please report any incidents as soon as they occur.
10. Cleanliness:
We take pride in the cleanliness of our home. Please help us maintain it by tidying up before you leave and disposing of trash in the provided bins.
11. Respect the Space:
Treat our home with respect and care. Any illegal activities, including drug use, or unruly behaviour are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your stay.
12. Emergency Contact:
In case of emergency, please contact us immediately. Emergency contact information will be provided upon check-in.
By booking our property, you agree to abide by these house rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges or termination of your stay.
