"We booked a deluxe apartment, not sure what the difference is. The apartment was roomy, adequate kitchen for breakfasts and lunches no oven although microwave was a combi oven/microwave. Beds were comfy. Terrace/balcony was large with sunbeds, luckily we were in the sun most of the day. Bathroom had walkin shower with plenty of hot water although it did need some maintenance (grouting and sealant need replacing, mould on bottom of shower screen) Friendly helpful staff on reception. "Room cleanliness good, breakfast and evening buffet fine. No water provided in the room though and all-inclusive is poor unless you live by the bar and drink lots of alcohol. Pool area very average and water cold. Treadmill in the gym didn't work, mini-golf and jacuzzis have been removed. Never had a pool towel when I went to ask for one. Conveniently located for the airport and golf courses as long as you don't mind aeroplane noise overhead. "

"Stayed in the Royal Level Family, this is a quiet area with nice pool and pool bar, not too busy could always get seats. Restaurant for breakfast fast and dinner we use the El Ancla which is in the old lighthouse, lovely food and service and cooked to order big prawns one night. Barceló is a huge resort with 3 hotels as such but done really well and it was a pleasure to stay there, we will go back."
