"I wouldn't recommend staying in Calama if you want to visit the Atacama on tourism (we made this mistake). Calama is a pretty rough town and we were warned about car thefts. That said this hotel was pretty decent. They have a bit of an odd setup with the sink being outside the bathroom which I felt was odd and the room was quite cramped. That said, it worked out quite well for our trip, if you do stay in Calama this hotel is a good option. "

"Dated and tired. But comfortable enough to get a decent night’s sleep. A purposeful pool with basic sun-lounging furniture. No in-room tea/coffee making facilities. No milk available across the entire hotel after breakfast ( to try and make your own drink ). Dinner is limited to a toasted sandwich menu. Service is hit & miss.
