"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Genovese. Parking was simple and straight forward. The view from our room and balcony was simply unreal. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed dinner from the hotel restaurant twice and both meals were excellent. The breakfast was a little too expensive for the options supplied so we only had it once. The spa amenities were included in our stay and provided some great relief after a long day of walking. Would happily stay here again and highly recommend. You can't beat the location if you want to spend some quality time in Bonifacio. "

"Excellent base for exploring Bonifacio and surrounding magical beaches. Cannot speak highly enough of the manager/owner who was very helpful and friendly. If I was going to suggest ways to improve i would say the apartment needs a more substantial bin and a small fridge in every room would be great (we did only pay for an economy room though). Also 11am checkout would be helpful when breakfast ends at 10 but none of these detracted from our stay. The pool was beautiful and very clean. Thank you for such a lovely stay! "

"Really lovely stay Had a room over the harbour so saw the Bastille day fireworks from the balcony. Some extra special staff - we travel a lot and they were 110%. Special thank you to Marc especially who went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay.Nothing was too much trouble He also recommended some fabulous places to eat - all excellent value. "We only stay one night because the hotel didn’t offer the type of services we expected. No help with luggage when we arrived, no dining offered for lunch or dinner, no bar and extremely difficult to get lunch and dinner elsewhere, and needed to walk at least 15 minutes to get to the beach. We didn’t have a car. The manager was very nice in helping us find a room at Moby Dick part of the chain of hotels which was nearby and had everything we needed including being a beach front hotel. Which by the way was fabulous. It was evident that Castell Verde was not a good option for us. I recommended the manager of this hotel to include information about services offered on their website so people know what to expect. We are thankful though about them helping us find a room at Moby Dick which has wonderful grounds and all the services you expect from a 4 star hotel."
