"This accommodation is run down and poorly looked after, which is a shame. There are a few safety issues which are quite concerning. The ladder to the bunk beds is not screwed on at the top, which we only discovered when our young son tried to climb it, it was fortunate he didn't hurt himself. "What a fantastic, beautiful, calming villa, with lovely views! The location is soothingly quiet and has an almost hypnotic feel; yet it is close to restaurants and amenities. The typically Menorcan beach of Na Macaret, is within walking distance, with a couple of restaurants. The pool is wonderfully clean, naturally warm and a very generous size. "The villa is in a great position. In a small cul-de-sac so quite peaceful, yet only a couple of hundred yards from 3 small supermarkets. Also very close to the marina and all it's many restaurants covering all cuisines and prices. The beach was just a little further on but an easy stroll. The villa is spacious, maybe a bit 60's ish but nicely furnished and extensively equipped. A real home from home. Some steps to negotiate, tricky if you have any mobility issues, but otherwise not a problem....

"The villa had a lovely outside space. Great access to a beautiful pool. Short taxi to the beach as we had small kids 2 and 4. The only thing that let the villa down was how dirty it was. Such a shame."

"We have just returned from a 3 generational holiday at Villaflora. The villa is spacious and comfortable with an exceptional outside space. The garden, pools, dining/seating and BBQ areas were incredible and well used during our stay. We loved having breakfast at the front looking at the morning ferries and lunch or dinner by the pool. The villa is within walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. Cala en Brut is very pretty and great for cliff jumping (no sand) and Cala n Blanes...

Beautiful villa with private pool and terrace

"We would happily stay here again. This was a return journey for us after 7 years and had a look round several other resorts. Cala Galdana is a hidden gem and the large sheltered bay is beautiful. The property is spacious, clean and everything a family needs. You may need a car if you have elderly family as the 180 steps down to the beach are challenging for some or there is a walk via the roads which is pleasant. The property itself is excellent"

"Lovely quiet location and everything we needed for a restful holiday. Would have been nice to have hand soap and toilet rolls but we found the local supermarket the day after we arrived. Also would greatly improve the stay to have WiFi, but a lovely relaxing holiday - would come again!"

"We had a great week here and loved the pool and especially the shady seating area, perfect for reading and siestas! The kitchen area is quite compact but there is an also a barbecue and we walked into town most nights (15/20 minute walk with a decent choice of places to eat). The small supermarket at the end of the road was very handy. Vasile was very friendly and helpful too"

"I had an amazing holiday and the villa and views were beautiful. I was extremely impressed with the facilities in this villa. There was nothing that we didn’t need. The host was great too. I will be returning next year for definite."

"The photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful apartment with outside, roomy patio in a peaceful area.Lovely sunsets from a few yards away and handy for restaurants and supermarkets. Will definitely be back."

"This property is perfect if you're looking for such a quiet place to stay, the swimming pool is amazing especially during the morning when a few people stay there, in addition to that, the property is near (10 min) a beautiful beach of the island. The only incovenient is about transports and distance to the centre because you must rent a car or it will be impossible to visit the island. "

"Beautiful infinity pool with beach and sea views. Unfortunately weather was windy on some days but the pool area is well secluded and tucked away out of the winds."

Lovely stay at Lago Suites

"Fantastic weekend getaway! Staff are truly friendly and professional and were able to help us with everything we needed for the weekend! Britanny at the Lago hotel side was so friendly with recommendations as well! The only downside is the state of the spa, which i was disappointed in the condition. It needs maintenance and upgrading. Also, given it is a 5* hotel, i expected it not be accessible for free (obviously pay for treatments). Breakfast at the suites was also truly exceptional, i would come back again!"
