"Excellent stay"

"A lovely hotel with clean rooms. It was in a great location for the beach and centre of town. There were a variety of food options too. The only negative encounter that we had was with an elderly waiter who was rude and pressurised us into buying drinks at the meal. His customer service skills were abrupt and he came across as being rude. However, all other staff were fantastic and the hotel itself was great. The kids Animation Team for the children was also brilliant. "

The hotel has an unusual lay-out with blocks of rooms scattered over the hillside and with golf-type buggies running frequently picking guests up to get back to the main building or elsewhere. "Whilst not in Cala d’or but Cala egos, the 30 minute walk is picturesque passing a beach and extensive marina .DIrect buses or taxis are conveniently located. Reception staff were helpful, and other staff pleasant. This is a large complex split into various blocks and areas with apartments either located around the pools, stage area or away from these central areas. "It’s a 3 star no more no less. Room was clean but could have been cleaner. Food was fine - standard AI in Spain. I did feel on arrival that the woman on the desk could have smiled and been more helpful. What let’s this place down is the other guests making a noise at all times if the day and night - shouting in the echoing corridors at 3am and for what when on for hours. Also should have been dealt with by the hotel but wasn’t "
