We had a 4 night stay in this property to do some sightseeing across Cairns. This was the perfect base for us to stay and complete all the touristy bits. There were 4 of us in total and the property was plenty big enough for 4-6 people. Vera was brilliant from the moment of arrival to departure, helping point us to the local shops for the basics and helping with any queries we had. Air con was great in all rooms. The accommodation is basic but great value for money compared to other Air bnbs/hotels around and just a short Uber ride from the espionade ! Overall if your just using it as a place to sleep then you cant go wrong. Thanks for a great stay

Lovely bbq area, close to everything, could have been cleaner. Everything you might need like at home. Some noise from locals during night but nothing bad.

Best stay around Cairns
My partner and I stayed for a couple of nights. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful backyard for our dog. A few shops just across the road. A park with a stream for dogs to have a swim just a minute walk away. Clean bathroom, kitchen and rooms. And the best pricing. Would definitely stay again.

Vera was a great host. He was was easy to contact whenever we needed something, since he lives upstairs he could help out quickly. Our family stay was enjoyable and would absolutely come back to stay again. Also very affordable for spacious rooms and close to most areas to visit.

We weren’t looking for a villa or resort to lounge in so this very simple home was perfect for our needs. Clean sheets, aircon, a bathroom, washing machine and kitchen, with lots of room! The ping pong table was a great bonus and made evenings very fun!

Great family friendly house. House has a good sized backyard for your personal use, undercover verandah and table tennis table. There is a piano inside (which the kids loved making lots of noise on) and large TV. House is basic but perfectly sufficient for a budget family holiday. Hosts live upstairs and kindly retrieved the pingpong balls from under the fence (many times!)

We stayed at this property as a family. It is basic but priced accordingly. The owner is helpful. No off street parking but plenty of street parking. It is a large property. Keep in mind that it is a guest house. Still very reasonable if you book the whole thing. Thank you. We had a great stay.

We are basic travellers with basic needs. The Lovely downstairs home basically covered the requirements. There needs some investment into the rooms. Bit of foot traffic noise from upstairs. However if you are looking for a crash pad with a fridge and stove at a standard rate this place will suit.
