"Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. Excellent service from friendly, attentive, courteous and efficient staff. Would stay again."

"Stayed here after climbing Mount Snowdon. Stayed in one of the cabana lodges. Would highly recommend it for families. Our 2 boys loved it in the upstairs bunk. Couldn’t fault the lodge at all. Set in stunning grounds. Hotel staff were brilliant. "
