We had no issues during our stay and enjoyed the time together. The only negative was the internet speed but considering its purpose, it didn't affect the success of the vacation."

"Our experience at Lake Barkley resort State Park was excellent. The food was amazing and the great prices were a nice surprise. The rooms were really nice, the bed was comfortable, The view of the lake was amazing. The only negative was that there was a lot of construction going on and there were not signs telling you where you were and how to get to where you needed to go. When we drove up, it was very difficult to find the door to go in because of all the construction and the lack of instruction with signs. I’m sure that will be better when it’s all finished, however, it could be better now and eliminate a lot of confusion to people who have never been there before. But overall, it was an excellent place to visit and stay and we will definitely come back."

"This is a wonderful VRBO and gets 10/10! We who came are college friends now with kids who are also friends and spent spring break here. It was a wonderful week to relax and catch up. The kids had a blast playing ping pong, darts, and with each other. The bi-level layout of the house was nice to give grown-ups and kids separate spaces. The house was extremely clean, well designed and fully stocked. We enjoyed cooking at the house every night except the last one. We came in mid-March preceding spring blooms. There were a few rainy days, but the fog on lake was very beautiful. The bare trees gave way for full views of amazing sunsets on the deck. We got to see eagles, osprey and egrets. The stars at night are breathtaking. The host was extremely responsive to a few questions that came up through the week, and we appreciated that greatly. Thank you so much for giving us wonderful memories in your lovely home. We look forward to coming back!"
