Great location on beautiful Lake Mitchell!

Perfect getaway for families/friends. Cadillac has something for everyone all year round.

Very roomy and clean house. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake enjoying the large deck. House is fully furnished for your enjoyment. The lake is an all sports lake. In summer months there is great fishing, water skiing, tubing, jet skiing. The Boat launch is located down the street with room on the boat dock to tie up your boat. The house rental includes use of 2 kayak’s, 1 paddle board and a number of floating rafts and toys for the water.

The kitchen is well stocked, just need to bring your food. House sleeps 10, 1 queen bedroom main level, upstairs 4 twins, 1 full and a 1 queen sofa sleeper. The house has a bath and a half.

For those hot summer nights take a stroll down to Thirsty's Party store for some delicious ice-cream or for those cool evenings enjoy a fire roasting marshmallows!

There are several golf courses and one right across the street! There's lots of good fishing and hiking, biking and my favorite is the walk around Cadillac Lake that leads to downtown where there are some great restaurants and the cutest shops for home décor to summer dresses. The Farmers market has a variety of veggies and homemade items, on occasion local artisans.

Kitchen is fully stocked, gas grill available on side house deck for grilling. House includes all sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels and beach towels. The house has parking for up to 4 vehicles or 3 vehicles and a boat trailer.

Great stay!
We stayed here for four nights with our family. Great location, beautiful deck overlooking the lake, and beautiful dock. We sat by the fire and had a perfect view of the Cadillac fireworks one night. The cottage was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the property manager was great. If we had a question, she answered immediately. Highly recommend this property,

Great Lake house
This was a perfect location for me personally, not only because of the lake front but it was 3 minutes away from family for a wedding I was in. The house was very clean with many updates already done. The evenings were really cool so not having air was no big deal for us. It was mostly my husband and I staying there and the night before the wedding we had the groom and his 3 groomsmen stay the night. The loft is mostly twin beds which was fine for a bunch of dudes anyway. It would be awesome for a family with kids. Some of the taller guys did bump their heads but were ok. I was really looking forward to kayaking but the wedding took every spare minute I had. But I did peek in the shed and everything I could need was in there (kayaks, paddle board, paddles, life vests. Also the lake is shallow near the house so great for kids to play without too much worry. Sylvia was amazing with any questions that I had. I had another VRBO cancel on me two weeks before the wedding and she was awesome making sure we wouldn't have the same issue. We were very appreciative. We had the family that lives in Cadillac drop in to see the place and they may use this rental anytime they need extra space because it was nice and so close. I would rent again.

Nice place but very hands off by owners
The house was nice and just what we wanted. Lots of beds upstairs but for kids only. Only one bed downstairs that would be suitable for adults. Fire place was nice to have for a winter stay. A few things that could have been better. There were cobwebs all over the ceiling of the house and ladybugs in the kitchen. Rained and snowed when we were there, nothing was taken care of. No snow cleared no ice melt down. Couldn't walk out the door without falling to get to the truck. The hot water heater was on low so no hot water until I finally checked the heater. Shouldn't have to turn the hot water heater up to take a shower. All in all a nice place but needs more attention from the owners.

Cute and comfy lake house.
This is the 2nd year that we have rented this house. The house is just what we are looking for. The lake is right off the deck and we love the fireplace and big TV for chilly/rainy nights. The house has everything we need for cooking, relaxing and enjoying the lake. Communication with the owner/manager has been great.

Fun little lake house
Overall the house was really great. Nicely stocked kitchen. They had a cute s'more making basket and plenty of firewood for the fire pit. Plenty of beach towels and lake toys. The lake was nice and sandy, a great place to swim and cool off. There was construction next door that woke us up between 7 and 730 am, and because of the time of year we had to have the windows open at night because it was so hot! The only negatives were no AC, the mattresses were pretty stiff (bring a topper if you need a softer mattress) and the noise from construction and the busy road. There probably could have been more fans to help with airflow, but we made it work with what they had. None of these things made our stay unpleasant, and we would definitely recommend and stay again! Suck a nice place to relax and enjoy the lake!

Nice cottage with great water frontage and very convenient location to Cadillac. Everything was provided for a great long weekend of cooking out, swimming, golfing, and canoeing with friends.

Cottage on Lake Mitchell 4901664
OUTSTANDING! I can't tell you all of the wonderful things about this cottage because there's not enough room on this page. The cottage was everything we were looking for. The shallow water was perfect for Grandma (non swimmer) and small grandkids. Fishing was excellent for husband and adult son. For someone who likes to cook, like myself, the kitchen came fully equipped. Stores, restaurants and attractions were nearby. The gas station at the end of the street (very easy walk to reach) had wonderful ice cream. The deck was perfect for relaxing, reading a book and having dinner outside. The fire pit was wonderful also. Kids loved making smores and we took equipment to make pie iron pizzas. Sunrises and sunsets were beyond glorious. The kids were able to feed the family of ducks that came by a couple of times each day. We enjoyed it so much, we are going to try to go back, perhaps next year for a 2 week stay. Sylvia was absolutely wonderful to work with. They have a real gem on Lake Mitchell.

The cottage was kid friendly with a nice dock and shallow water. Some road noise that can't be helped but we just left on our fan while sleeping and then was not bothered by it. Nice kitchen and living area and great deck outside.

Great house, perfect for family vacation
House was clean and charming. Thankfully it wasn't very hot because it does not have air conditioning. That is the only "con" I would give. Other than that the upstairs loft was perfect for kids/a family. The amenities were great and communication was perfect. We had family in the area who stayed here for extra space and will definately be excited to spend more time with there again.

Great place to make memories.

This was our best family vacation yet! The house was inviting, cozy and perfect for our family. The kids loved the great space upstairs, each with their own bed and storage space. The games and books were a nice bonus. We grilled every day, and enjoyed toasted marshmallows over a campfire every night. Having firewood provided was such a blessing! We all enjoyed the kayaks and the paddleboard. Lake Mitchell is beautiful,, and the shallow water with sandy bottom was perfect for our children! Sylvia was wonderful and responsive. This is a GREAT property in a GREAT location . We hope to return next year!

Great Winter Getaway!
We had a great time staying at this adorable cottage on the lake! It was fully stocked & had everything we needed. Sylvia was extremely accommodating & was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed skiing at Caberfae during the day & cozying up by the fire at night! The lake was frozen over and my kids loved watching all of the ice fishing and snowmobiles & motorcycles go by on the lake! Would definitely recommend this property! :)

Family weekend
The property was exactly as described. The amenities were so helpful and fun. We grilled out, swam, used the kayaks and sup. The fireplace was perfect for the cool mornings and nights.
