"The cabin was magical, a quiet, private retreat above the trees that was well-appointed and totally self-sustaining. Louise was a terrific host - we arrived to a bottle of wine, fresh eggs and pasta sauce/pasta in the fridge/kitchen. She is easy to communicate with and helpful in all ways. This is not a resort stay - but I say that as a strong positive, not a negative. If you expect a controlled environment with drinks/food available at all times this is not for you. "I loved the property and how it was set up. A few tiny things niggled me. The jacuzzi bath didn't have a stopper so couldnt use it as a bath. The shower wasnt cleaned properly, there was hairs all over. No other plugs for international guests. Some of the lights didnt work."

"The property has a 60’s ambiance to it, your room key is actually 2 keys on a heavy metal holder. No key card here. There are no restrooms on the property so be prepared to run to your room. The saving grace is the spectacular beach, clear blue water, no drops or ridges you are on level sand getting in and out. 3 nearby restaurants at adjacent properties give a choice of dining. All in all great place to have a quiet beach holiday, between 8 and 11 you have your own private beach."

"Krista and the rest of the staff were brilliant. The cottage was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable for an 8-night stay. It was terrific to have the pool for a quick dip whenever the humidity got too much and it’s very close to Dickenson Bay. Lovely beach, gorgeous sunsets. "

"Property is located on the high ground with great views. Property is in good condition. Staff is awesome. Walkways within hotel are very steep and crooked, so, if you have to walk to your room within property, it's difficult. The staff can give you ride in golf cart (it feels likean amusement park ride ;) )"
