"We arrived via the not fit to drive at night broken road and upon arriving decided NOT to stay even though we had paid. The hotel pics must be very old as it looks like something from a horror film. Flaky paint, badly kept gardens and flies in our room. We handed back the key and left. The road to the property is horrendous. Don't even think about going anywhere for dinner and back....it's not safe....awful"

"This is an excellent apartment in a very nice area of Petralia Sottana. I went to the city for a conference in the Monastery. I would walk to the conference and to the main street where all restaurants and markets are located. The host Nicoletta was very nice and responsive and the room itself is very comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay there again. "

We were in Heaven
"We do a fair amount of travelling and have stayed at many VRBO properties and this villa and property were among the very best. The villa is outstanding in every way. The furnishings, art and decor are all beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a nice meal for a large group. The property is breathtaking and meticulously maintained. There are numerous, incredibly comfortable outdoor areas where guests from a large group can find quiet time and unwind after a busy day of exploring the area. The owners are kind, gracious and elegant and genuinely enjoy hosting visitors. Rosanna made a fantastic dinner to celebrate a birthday of Chicken Parmesan, Pasta and Salad. The experience was so memorable and the food was incredibly tasty and authentic. It was the perfect accommodation for our visit to Cefalu and the surrounding area."
