The church of Santa Maria degli Angeli is located 300 meters away. Inside, in addition to the splendid Madonna del Gagini, the remains of the Blessed Giovanni Liccio are preserved.
Not far away, 300 meters away, is the Norman-era cathedral, dedicated to St. George the martyr, in whose interior are kept immense treasures of ecclesiastical art and stupendous canvases, among which the canvas by Matthias Stomer, Miracle of St. 'Isidoro Agricola, dated 1641.
Finally, not far away is the majestic medieval castle from the Chiaramonte era which, nestled on a rock, dominates imposingly over a valley where you can admire an unforgettable landscape with a view of the lake.
Don't miss the natural landscapes of the surrounding area: the oriented nature reserves of Monte San Calogero, Monte Rotondo and Monte Cane at whose feet there is the large Rosamarina lake. From them you can enjoy unique and unmissable views.
