"This place was absolutely wonderful and I don’t have one negative thing to say. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. The grounds were lush and gorgeous. The water slide was super fun. The staff especially at the front desk and restaurant were kind, accommodating and very attentive. I travelled with 3 boys ages 12, 10 and 7. I would highly recommend this place in La Fortuna."

"A completely run down place. When entering the room there was mouse poop on the beds and the shelves. Taking a shower was impossible because there wasn’t enough water available. Place is not safe. Long dark walkways without any illumination in the property to get to your cabin. At night lots of traffic noise and parties in the neighborhood. Not recommendable"

The beach is lovely and it was not touristy when we there (during heavy rainfall). Howler monkeys entertained us frequently. The maid did a very good job. "Our family of four stayed between Christmas and New Years. The house was perfect - great views and great location. Right in the middle of Santa Teresa. The host was incredible. So helpful before and during the trip with reservations, cars, etc. We used LocalBird for fishing, snorkeling, etc. We missed our flight from San Jose to Cobano and there were no other flights. The host quickly helped us come up with Plan B including a driver. Saved tge day!!!"

"All in our party were very pleased with our stay. We used the pool nearly every day. Rooms were cool, internet fast as advertised, short walk to the beach, good surf spot, daily cleanup was thorough, and plenty of kitchen items to cook with. Small grocery store, Italian restaurant, and breakfast/lunch café all within a few minute walk. Excellent."
